A Literature Survey on Biological Activities of Thiazolidine Derivatives
Abstract: Hetercyclic compounds play a vital role in both chemical and life sciences. Among them ,thiazolidinone represent a significant class, characterized by a five- membered saturated ring containing both sulfur and nitrogen atoms. Structurally, thiazolidinones are derived from thiazole, with sulfur position at the 1-position, nitrogen at the 3-position , and a carbonyl group typically located at the 2-, 4-, or 5- position are possible, though structural and functional diversity is …

Synthesis, Characterization of New Imidazolidin-4-One Containing Azo Compound Derived from Acetylacetone as Antibacterial and Antioxidant Agents
Abstract: In the present study, new derivatives of imidazolidine-4-one was prepared. Which involved reactions to diazonium salt of o-methoxy aniline with acetylacetone in the presence of sodium hydroxide, and isolating the azo compound as a brown precipitate. The azo diketone reacts efficiently with aromatic amine derivatives to produce Schiff bases as a light yellow and dark brown precipitates, and from this Schiff bases three derivatives of imidazolidine-4-one was prepared by reacting …

Iron Ore Beneficiation through Reverse Flotation: Advances in Nanobubble-Assisted Flotation Technology for Lean Grade Ore Upgradation and Silica Removal: A Review
Abstract: The global demand for high-grade iron ore concentrates continues to surge as readily available rich ores become depleted. Iron ore beneficiation through froth flotation has emerged as a critical technology for upgrading lean-grade iron ores (typically 25–35% Fe) to produce high-quality concentrates (64–70% Fe) suitable for direct reduction and blast furnace operations. This comprehensive review examines the fundamental principles of flotation in iron ore beneficiation, with particular emphasis on the …
