A study on Bridging Chemical Transformation and Climate Feedbacks in the Earth System
Abstract: The atmosphere operates as a vast and complex chemical reactor, where minute-scale transformations exert profound influence on planetary-scale climate stability. This research investigates the multi-scale coupling between reactive tropospheric chemistry and large-scale climate feedbacks, challenging traditional modeling approaches that often divorce chemical kinetics from dynamic processes. By integrating high-resolution chemical transport models (CTMs) with comprehensive Earth System Models (ESMs), we map the flow of energy and matter from the molecular …

Errors-in-Variables Model for Photovoltaic Cell
Abstract: AbstractThe contribution of solar energy to the world's total energy supply has grown significantly. Energy from the sun is the most abundant and freely available energy on the planet. So, the importance of modelling the photovoltaic cell also increased remarkably. Many models for photovoltaic cell had been proposed since the beginning of the solar energy exploitation. Electronic equivalent circuit models, first-principles models and empirical models are the different modelling techniques …

Phyto-Entrapped Carbon Dots as Emerging Nanomaterials for Anti-Cancer Activity
Abstract: Phytoconstituent-loaded carbon dots (C-dots) represent an innovative approach in targeted cancer therapy, combining the therapeutic power of plant-derived compounds with the advanced capabilities of nanotechnology. These ultra-small, biocompatible nanostructures offer excellent fluorescence, tunable surface chemistry, and low toxicity, making them ideal for drug delivery, bioimaging, and theranostic applications. Traditional phytochemicals often face challenges like poor solubility, low bioavailability, and high first-pass metabolism barriers that C-dots help overcome. C-dots synthesized through …

Azepines, Chemistry, Synthesis and Reactions
Abstract: Azepines, which consist of a seven-membered cyclic compound featuring six carbon atoms, an additional nitrogen atom, and no double bonds between carbons, form a diverse group within organic chemistry. The fully hydrated form of this compound is called azepam (C6H13N). Compounds and their variants play crucial roles in pharmaceutical research due to their biologic attributes like cancer-fighting, bacteria-killing, fungus-busting, virus-suppressing, and inflammation-reducing capabilities. Various organic molecules found within nature draw …

DFT/Data Guided Predictive Modelling of Absorption Maxima in the OLED Rubrene Derivatives
Abstract: This study investigates the optical properties of rubrene derivatives to develop an accurate predictive model for absorption maxima using computational chemistry and chemoinformatic techniques. We benchmarked various quantum chemical methods, identifying that the M06-2X/aug-cc-pVDZ method in dichloromethane (DCM) provided the strongest correlation with experimental data. Key molecular descriptors such as band gap, ionization potential, and electrophilicity index were calculated and analyzed using principal component analysis (PCA) to identify significant factors …
