Dietary Habit, Anthropometric Measurements and Haematological Parameters in Correlation with Prevalence of Iron-Deficiency Anaemia among Never Married Tribal Female Postgraduates of Assam, India
Abstract: Iron deficiency (ID) is the most common nutritional deficiency and familiar cause of anaemia worldwide. Among the tribal population of India, the scenario of anaemia is severe. Eating habit along with a number of genetic haemoglobin (Hb) disorders has been found to modify the morbidity and mortality of these populations. Providing information on causes and prevalence rate on anaemia among tribal population in one of the severely affected international border …

Parametric optimization of residual stress of TiO2 composite coating
Abstract: The primary objective was to develop a composite coating by utilizing the HVOF thermal spray technique and including TiO2. The substrate was covered with a high-quality composite layer utilizing the HVOF coating process. The TiO2-based powder and carbon powder were initially combined in the mixer for deposition. The composite powders were applied via an HVOF torch, namely the PT F4 model. The firearm frequently produces a high-speed flow of extremely …

Physico-Mechanical Behavior of Euphorbia abyssinica and Wood–Chips Composites
Abstract: In this study, we prepared composite test specimens from Eucalyptus chip particles of sizes 0.5 mm, 1 mm, and 2 mm combined with Euphorbia abyssinica fluid at an 80:20 mass ratio. We produced the particleboard under a compression load of 150 KN and kept it in the compression machine for thirty minutes inside the mold. After removing it from the machine, we secured it with C-clamps for twenty-four hours. We …

Electrooxidation of Methylene Blue over nanoparticle coated DSA synthesized by sol-gel method
Abstract: The current study uses the sol-gel approach to synthesize a new Dimensionally Stable Anode (DSA) covered with nanoparticles. The objective is to enhance the electrocatalytic activity and overall performance of the anodes in treating synthetic industrial wastewater containing reactive dyes. CuO and TiO2 nanoparticles are coated using a thermal decomposition technique on a titanium electrode. The DSA surface gains more surface area and better catalytic capabilities when nanoparticles are coated …

Comparative Study on Stabilization of Expansive Soil using Cement Kiln Dust and Ceramic Dust
Abstract: In India, expansive soils cover about 20% of total land area, these soils increase in volume (swell) during winter season and decrease in volume (shrink) during summer season. Due to this contradiction behaviour many civil engineering structures constructed on expansive soils get damaged severely, out of which pavement is the most because they are lightweight and extend over large areas. Stabilization of Expansive soil is of most importance, since to …

Mapping of Dangerous Glacial Lakes by Using Systematic Extraction Approach in Different Catchments of Upper Indus Basin (UIB) Pakistan
Abstract: The glaciers are nature's most valuable fresh water resource for irrigation, industry, and hydroelectric growth, as well as for the present and future needs of millions of people who live downstream. Numerous of the waterways in the HKH region receive a significant percentage of ice melt water from this solid reservoir. Many of the glaciers which consist of massive amount of permanent snow and ice are found to generate several …
