Membrane Filtration Technology for Radioactive Liquid Waste
Abstract: All industrial, scientific and medical processes using radioactive material are responsible for producing nuclear waste which is detrimental to marine life. There is large quantity of water consumption in nuclear power plant due to huge amount of heat dissipation in the reactors. The other sources of radioactive waste can be obtained from the operations conducted by nuclear power stations and from mining and refining of uranium and thorium. While processing …

Generating Fuel Energy by Catalytic Pyrolyzing of Microalgae
Abstract: In biomass pyrolysis process, a catalyst is used to modify the pyrolysis gases' chemical composition and increase the bio-oil fraction. This process uses the byproducts of thermal conversion processes. It is anticipated that the introduction of pyrolysis catalysts in the case of microalgae will lower the bio-oxygen oil's content and increase the number of added-value compounds in this liquid fraction. Catalysts can also help decrease the nitrogen in bio-oil. As …

Elimination of Super Chargers in Automobiles by Using Cooling System
Abstract: Nowadays, the fossil fuels are depleting day by day. The efficiency of an automobile has to be increased to overcome the shortage of fossil fuels. If we reduce the consumption of the brake power obtained during combustion for other purposes rather than running the vehicle such as super chargers, cooling systems etc., we can increase the efficiency. We are using almost 35% of the output power of the crankshaft for …

Review on: Plastic Waste Uses for the Production of Liquid Oil
Abstract: Solid waste is a substantial problem, predominantly in emerging countries that lack adequate substructure and operational land mass to process it in a corrected manner. Several emerging nations are facing a combination of issues that avert proper management of solid waste. This paper reviews the management of municipal solid waste in Ethiopia, using the Addis Ababa City as a case study. The consumption of plastic materials is vast and has …

Review on Main Equations for Measuring Spray Properties in Centrifugal Injectors
Abstract: The method of fuel injection has a significant effect on the stability and proper mixing of fuel and oxidizer, which is done by the injector. In other words, the injector is a device that converts fluid into droplets. The faster and better the particle crushing rate, the faster the fluid particles will evaporate, resulting in higher thermal efficiency and higher thrust force. Therefore, how to inject fuel into the combustion …

Application of Thermal Spray Coatings for Corrosion Control in Oil and Gas Refineries
Abstract: In today’s context, Thermal Spray Coating (TSC) has emerged as a highly durable and reliable alternative to traditional Hot-Dip Galvanizing (HDG). It is increasingly being adopted for both new and existing industrial structures due to its long-lasting protection—often exceeding 25 years—while requiring little to no maintenance. Unlike HDG, which cannot be welded on-site and often poses challenges with repair methods such as liquid coating or cold spray, TSC offers greater …

Survey in Hydrazine and its Preparation, Reactions, and Their Applications
Abstract: This review concerned with hydrazine derivatives; Hydrazine is an important chemical compound used in jet engine and rocket fuel. Therefore, the European Union prohibits its sales to the developing world at 100% concentration and only permits its sales at 20-25% concentration. It is also used in industry to produce chemicals for textiles, agriculture, photographic development materials, and blowing agents used in the manufacture of foam rubber. It is also used …

Study on Solar Water Heater with Thermal Energy Storage System
Abstract: AbstractRenewable power supplies are progressively gaining increasing importance in all the nations. Specially, solar electricity, being non-polluting and inexhaustible, has obtained extensive interest among scientists and engineers. Although, there are many advantages, an essential factor is that solar power is time structured power source with an intermittent individual. Consequently, some form of thermal power storage (TES) is necessary for the only usage of this energy supply. Thermal energy can be …

Studies on CO2 Dissolution in Sodium Silicate for the Precipitation of Silica
Abstract: Rice husk is an agricultural residue abundantly available. Rice husk is a fuel having high ash content; major constituent being silica (90%). Extracting silica from Rice husk ash (RHA) not only adds value but also solves disposal problem of large amount of ash. Conventionally silica is extracted from quartz (silica rock) but this route is expensive and required more energy and RHA is the ultimate choice. Alternately Extraction of silica …
