Abstract: Current research work studies the influence of amines(–NH₂) and carboxyl(–COOH) functionalized graphene nanoplatelets on the mechanical and thermomechanical behavior of unidirectional hybrid composite. Composites having different graphene concentration from 0 to 0.7 wt% were fabricated, characterized and analyzed for multiple testing - tensile testing, dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). Influence of Hybrid Fiber Reinforcement on the Interfacial Bonding and Fracture Toughness of Epoxy-Based Polymer Composites Under Cyclic Loading
Abstract: This study investigates the influence of hybrid fiber reinforcement on the interfacial bonding and fracture toughness of epoxy-based polymer composites under cyclic loading. Carbon, glass, and aramid fibers, both individually and in hybrid combinations, were incorporated into the epoxy matrix to evaluate their thermal, mechanical, and fatigue-resistant properties.
