Effect of Conventional Physiotherapy and Modified Constraint Induced Movement Therapy through Play way Method to Improve the Upper Extremity Motor Skills among the Children with Hemi paretic Cerebral Palsy
Abstract: There is a tendency in children with unilateral involvement to use their non-affected hand as the dominant hand, even when the actual functional loss is mild. The potential use of the affected upper extremity of children with hemiparetic CP often fails due to “developmental non-use”, and this leads to increased muscle tone, and decreased active and passive range of motion of the joints of the limb, poor motor control, generalized …

Role of ion Regulation in Heartbeat Initiation
Abstract: The heart can beat quite 2 billion times in normal life, but the mechanism by which the guts beats is that the subject of intense research. Since the invention of pacemaker currents in 1978, several studies have shown that rhythmic changes in membrane tension (the "membrane tension clock") underlie the mechanism of automation. It's the depolarizing current activated during hyperpolarization. Therefore, when the guts cells recover, it's activated, the cell …

Characterization and Antimicrobial Investigations of Isomeric Pr(III) Juglonates
Abstract: Hydroxy napthoquinone derivatives constitute an interesting group of ligands which is recognized as ‘Juglones’. Isomeric Lawsone-Juglone and Phthiocol-Plumbagin are the most important members of the Juglone series and are biologically active, having natural origin. They form isomeric pairs of ligands resulting into isomeric pairs of metal chelates. The isomerism is occurring due to formation of either five or six membered rings in the metal chelates. In the present work Prasodymium …

Role of Electron Donors in MgCl2 Supported Ziegler-Natta Catalysis: DFT Approach
Abstract: An insight into the nature of carbonate-based electron donors in high-activity MgCl2 supported Ziegler-Natta (Z-N) catalysts has been studied and compared with conventional phthalate and diether systems by employing density functional theory (DFT) calculations. In the catalyst activation (one of the important processes to produce the active catalyst sites), the conventional monometallic and recently characterized bimetallic (TiCl2(Et)–Cl–AlEt2) active site are studied in the presence/absence of electron donors. These active sites …

Thermal Stability of Compatibilised Natural Rubber/ Chitosan Blends
Abstract: The thermal degradation behavior of Natural Rubber /Chitosan (NR/CS) blends compatibilised with maleic anhydride (MA) was studied by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The TGA shows that the MA modified blends are more stable than the pure blends. MA acts as a reactive compatibiliser in NR/CS blends. MA grafted NR chain is highly reactive towards the functional group on the chitosan moiety, and when pressing at elevated temperature interaction develops between the …

Some Creep-Rupture Data Analytics as Applied to AISI 310S Superalloy Austenitic Stainless Steel Sheets at Elevated Temperatures and High Applied Stresses
Abstract: Creep-rupture of AISI 301S stainless steel is analyzed at 973-1073K and 40-150MPa. Various creep curves and creep rate curves are compared to understand the effect of temperature and applied load. Creep deformation and creep fracture mechanisms are manipulated from concerned mechanism maps. Creep deformation follows high temperature climb. Creep activation energy so obtained is 345KJ/mol. It is larger than activation energy for self-diffusion in pure FCC iron (that is 270-311kJ/mol). …

Infant’s Immunity w.s.r. to Compliment System: A General Review
Abstract: Infant’s mortality and morbidity rate in developing countries are at higher incidence due to infections. Various factors are responsible for infections, such as low socio-economic status, poor hospital facilities and malnutrition etc. The low level of compliment components and serum immunoglobulin in infants has been claimed to be the reason of defective opsonic activity in infants as well as defective generation of chemotaxis activity. Thus immune system during neonatal as …

Abstract: Emphysema is the pathological manifestation primarily associated with lungs. However, there are evidences of extra-pulmonary manifestations related to emphysema. The inflammation developed during emphysema triggers the release of several inflammatory mediators, which affects the proximal as well as distal organs. The present study was designed to determine the effect of inflammatory spillage on testicular tissue of male Sprague dawley rats; moreover, the main focus was to assess the potential role …
