Comparative Study of Psychomotor Performance in Depression Patients with Healthy Volunteers
Abstract: Antidepressant drug therapy can affect psychomotor performance of patients suffering from depression. Hence, the present study was planned to assess the psychomotor performance of under therapy depression patients with healthy volunteers using battery of psychometric tests. Twenty under therapy patients suffering from depression and taking antidepressant drugs treatment for not less than six months were compared with 20 healthy volunteers. The psychometric test battery included three subjective visual analogue scales …

Antibacterial Action of Bacillus coagulans Against Diverse Pathogens and its Relevance as Probiotics
Abstract: Probiotics are living organisms that give benefits to the host organism by improving the intestinal microbial balance. Probiotics have various beneficial effects as it maintains a healthy gut, healthy vaginal flora and boost the immune system. There are different strains of lactic acid bacteria that are used as probiotics but Bacillus coagulans is a good bacterium that is used in the form of probiotic supplements. In the present study, B. …

Case Study on Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo, Cervical Spondylitis with Bilateral Carpel Tunnel Syndrome and Psychosis under Evaluation
Abstract: A 55-year-old female patient was admitted in the general medicine female ward with the chief complaints of giddiness for three days, headache for three–four days (increases during exposure to light, sound and stress). She also complaints about nausea, vomiting on and off, giddiness on lying down and bending down, neck stiffness and pain in the both upper limbs for 5 years. Based on the subjective data’s obtained the prognosis was …

Driver’s Alert System
Abstract: This paper is an introduction to our project which aims to develop a Driver Safety Assistant (DSA) system using an in-vehicle video camera. It is a real-time capturing system which uses vision sensors to detect passengers and/or driver’s tiredness conditions [1]. The system assesses the ability of conducting safe driving and notifies the driver for any hazardous or dangerous situation. Moreover, safety actions to be performed by the embedded vehicle …

Electron beam irradiation studies of polyethylene maleic anhydride on their Chemical and Thermal properties.
Abstract: The electron beam (e-beam) irradiation effects on polyethylene maleic anhydride (MANPE) are investigated by spectroscopic and thermal methods. The MANPE irradiated with electron beam to a radiation dose of 30, 60 and 90 K Gy and the resultant changes in their chemical structure and thermal properties have been investigated by Electron spin resonance (ESR), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy …

Architectural Evolution of RISC Processors: From Early Research Prototypes to Modern Industrial Implementations
Abstract: This paper surveys the architectural evolution of Reduced Instruction Set Computer (RISC) architectures from early research prototypes to modern industrial processors, tracing four decades of design refinement across academic, embedded, server, mobile, and open- hardware ecosystems. Core ISA principles, pipeline evolution, compiler–hardware co-design, and quantitative performance modeling are analyzed through four representative industrial implementations: MIPS 74K, SPARC T4, ARM Cortex-A72, and SiFive U74 (RISC-V). Each processor is examined in terms …

AI-Optimized Nano-Silica Reinforced PCM Composites for Predictive Solar-Thermal Energy Storage Networks
Abstract: This study presents an AI-optimized nano-silica reinforced polymer composite phase change material (PCM) for predictive solar-thermal energy storage networks. The proposed composite combines paraffin wax, high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and uniformly dispersed nano-silica particles to improve thermal conductivity, structural stability, leakage resistance, and long-term cycling performance. The composite was fabricated through melt blending and ultrasonication-assisted nanoparticle dispersion, followed by comprehensive morphological, chemical, thermal, and thermophysical characterization using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), …

From Photoreceptors to Photoelectrodes: Integrating Biological Light-Harvesting Mechanisms with Nanostructured Photoelectrochemical Systems
Abstract: The efficient conversion of solar energy into electrical and chemical energy is a major scientific challenge of the twenty-first century. Natural photoreceptors provide valuable models for addressing this challenge because they have evolved highly efficient mechanisms for capturing and converting light energy. Biological systems such as rhodopsins, bacteriorhodopsins, proteorhodopsins, cryptochromes, phototropins, and phytochromes employ chromophore-driven photoinduced electron and proton transfer processes to initiate a wide range of physiological responses, including …

A Pre-Experimental Study to Evaluate the Effectiveness of a Self-Instructional Module on Knowledge Regarding Breast Self-Examination Among Adolescent Girls in Selected Higher Secondary Schools of Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh
Abstract: Breast cancer remains the most frequently diagnosed cancer among women worldwide and is a major cause of death, with its incidence steadily rising in India. Detecting the disease at an early stage greatly enhances survival rates; however, many cases are identified late due to limited awareness and inadequate access to healthcare resources. Breast self-examination (BSE) is an easy, cost-effective practice that enables women to notice early changes in their breasts. …
