Design of Plasmonic Based Splitters for WDM Applications
Abstract: AbstractPlasmonics has special property of metallic nanostructures to allow manipulation and routing of light at nanoscale. In this paper, 1×2 and 1×4 splitters are designed using metal-insulator-metal (MIM) plasmonic waveguides. These proposed splitter designs could be used to conquer various filtering devices for high assimilation in surface plasmon polaritons based metallic surfaces.
