Comparative of Encryption-Decryption Performance of (Binary, Gray- Scale, Color) Images Using Discrete Fractional Fourier Transform (DFRFT)
Abstract: The Discrete Fractional Fourier transform (DFRFT) provides an effective model of image encryption by further developing the classic Fourier transform by adding fractional orders, which increase the degrees of freedom. Owing to the omnipresence of digital media in many industries like education, healthcare, and entertainment, the mobility of visual data has become a significant issue to keep confidential. Images form one of the main ways of exchanging information and, therefore, …

Image Compression via Non-separable Discrete Fractional Fourier Transform
Abstract: The main idea behind image compression is to reduce the bandwidth for transmission and required space for storage. Thus, image compression is of great importance. In this paper we present the image compression technique using Non-Separable Discrete Fractional Fourier Transform (NSDFrFT). Numerical simulation results suggested that image compression method using NSDFrFT as transform technique gives better performance for images when compression ratio is high in comparison to DFrFT and JPEG. …

Algebraic Foundations of Generalized Signal Processing: A Unified Approach Across Domains
Abstract: Using the techniques of algebra, notably polynomial algebras and modules, algebraic signal processing (ASP) is a contemporary, abstract framework that generalizes conventional signal processing— including Fourier analysis, filtering, and convolution. The notion is to use algebraic structures to explain signals, systems, and transformations such that ideas may be understood and generalized across many domains, including time, space, graph, or group. A unifying theoretical framework called ASP generalizes classical signal processing …

Structural Modification of Sugarcane Bagasse using Alkaline, Acid, and Bleaching Pretreatments for Enhanced Yield of Poly (1→4)-β-D-glucopyranose (Cellulose) and Hemicellulose for Utilization as Biocomposites
Abstract: Sugarcane bagasse, a lignocellulosic byproduct generated in substantial quantities by the sugar industry, represents a promising feedstock for the sustainable production of enzymes and bio-based chemicals. Its high (1→4)-β-D-glucopyranose (cellulose) content, abundant availability, and low cost make it an ideal candidate for bioconversion processes. However, the inherent recalcitrance of bagasse, primarily due to its lignin-rich matrix, necessitates effective pretreatment strategies to enhance enzymatic digestibility. This study presents a comparative investigation …
