Design and Analysis of Microstrip Band Reject Filter with Modified Rectangular and Hexagonal Shape Ground Structure
Abstract: In this proposed paper, the performance of band stop filter with modified ground structure is examined; the modified ground structure includes four rectangular and a hexagonal etched shapes in ground plane. A New Dual Side Cut Corner Circularly Polarized Rectenna 2.45 GHz with DGS
Abstract: This paper introduces a new dual side cut corner circular polarized (CP) high efficiency rectifying antenna (Rectenna) array. The Rectenna consists of a truncated square patch antenna and a rectifying circuit. The Rectenna use a micro-strip patch antenna as a frequency 2.45 GHz and gain of 31.29 dB. The Rectenna circuit has a low pass filter (LPF) the maximum RF to DC conversion efficiency of the Rectenna is 68%.

A Novel Technique for Improvement in Front-to-Back Ratio of MSA for WLAN/WiMAX using Corrugated Dielectric Substrate as a Reflector
Abstract: In this paper the design of a microstrip antenna (MSA) with corrugated dielectric reflector is proposed to improve the front-to-back ratio (FBR) and reduce the back lobes in radiation pattern of the antenna. The designed antenna operates at 5.8 GHz and simulated on CSTMWS’10 software. Simulation results show that proposed antenna has 21.8 dB higher FBR than that of conventional MSA.
