Morphological and Optical Properties of Pure and Doped ZnS Nanoparticles: A Review
Abstract: In this article, authors have discussed that, how doping of different materials affects the photoluminescence property of ZnS nanoparticles. Structural properties of these doped ZnS nanoparticles have been analysed by X-ray diffraction, which shows the diameter of the particles. The unique luminescence properties, such as the strength (its intensity is about 12 times that of ZnS nanoparticles) and stability of the visible-light emission were observed from doped ZnS nanoparticles. However, …

Synthesis and Characterization of Size Tuned CdS Quantum Dots
Abstract: CdS nanoparticles are synthesized using chemical precipitation at room temperature. Cadmium sulfide is one of the most promising materials for solar cells and of great interest for their practical applications in up to electronics and photonics. The optical properties get modified due to the confinement of charge carrier within the nanoparticles. The physical and chemical properties of these nanoparticles are found to be size dependent. The crystallite sizes of cadmium …

A Brief Review of Nanotechnology
Abstract: All materials are made up of atoms and molecules. The control and use of materials at atomic, molecular and supramolecular scale makes the product of great quality and performance. Materials having at least one dimension within nanometres scale (1–100 nm) are referred as “nanomaterial”. Nanotechnology deals with the materials at such small level. Nanotechnology is considered to be an enabling technology that is likely to have a great impact on …

Green Synthesis of Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles using Extracts of Ocimum Tenuiflorum and its Characterization
Abstract: Various applications of nanoparticles stimulate the need for synthesizing them. But, the conventional methods are usually hazardous and energy consuming. This leads to the focus on “green synthesis” of nanoparticles which was an efficient and eco-friendly approach. Natural diminishment operators are being investigated worldwide to limit the impacts of toxic chemicals utilized as a part of nanoparticles creation. The present study states a green approach for the synthesis of zinc …
