Conceptual Study on V Shaped Folded Plate Retaining Wall
Abstract: Retaining wall is a structure whose primary purpose is to retain some material on one side or both sides of it. Architects and civil engineers are continuously looking for new and efficient methods to cover large spaces using the least materials. Therefore, the need of new techniques in the designing of retaining wall structure is targeted inorder to be conservative. Folded plate is a concept in which every Structural Engineer …

EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES ON ADSORPTION BY MAGNIFERA INDICA LEAVES
Abstract: Decolourisation of dye (Congo red) from aqueous solution using an adsorbent prepared from Mango leaf was investigated in this study. The influence of time of mechanical shaking , mass of adsorbent(0.5,1,1.5,2 mg), initial pH, initial concentration (2000 ,1500,1000,500,250 mg/L) on adsorption has been evaluated. It is shown that adsorbent prepared from Mango leaf powder has a relatively high adsorption capacity for these adsorbates. For 500 mg/L of solution prepared, the …

Experimental Investigation On Reactive Distillation Process For Synthesis of iso-amyl acetate
Abstract: Abstract: Reactive Distillation (RD) is a combination of reaction and distillation in a single vessel gives bonuses over conventional sequential approach of reaction followed by distillation or other separation techniques. These processes are better candidates to use it to chemical process industry. These processes proved to offer better selectivity, improved conversion, and superior heat control, operational utilization of reaction heat, choice for problematic separations, huge capital and energy price reductions, …

Short Review on Maskless Lithography in Microfluidics
Abstract: Maskless lithography is a part of the overall microfabrication technique to fabricate the polymer based microfluidic devices. Polymer based microfluidic devices are fabricated using the polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) and SU-8 as two commonly used polymers. PMMA microfluidic devices are fabricated by the maskless lithography, hot embossing lithography and direct bonding technique. SU-8 based glass microfluidic devices are fabricated by the maskless lithography, and indirect bonding technique. Therefore, maskless lithography is proved …

Development of bio-based foam from Ximenia americana seed oil polyol: Studies on the effect of toluene diisocyanate (TDI) on some properties of the foam
Abstract: Polyurethane foam is a very important and valuable industrial product. In this study, polyol synthesized from Ximenia americana seed oil was used in the production of bio-based polyurethane foam. Different amounts (2mL, 4mL, 6mL, 8mL and 10mL) of toluene diisocyanate (TDI) were used in the formulation of the foams, and the effect of the varied amount of TDI was investigated by studying the foams’ properties such as the density, tensile …
