Formulation and Evaluation of a Polyherbal Lip Scrub Containing Beetroot, Licorice, and Aloe VeraBy Sayli S. Saw, Deepak Mourya, Shubham Singh, Sanjesh Rathi
Abstract: The current research is aimed at developing and assessing a polyherbal lip scrub which contains beetroot extract, licorice extract and aloe vera gel to enhance better exfoliation, nutritional and depigmentation. The fusion method was applied to the herbal extract formulations by varying systematically the concentration of the herbal extracts to develop the 4 formulations (F1-F4) each of 15 g. These prepared formulations were tested on their important physicochemical and functional …

Formulation and Evaluation of Betel Leaf and Clove Based Herbal GelBy Parmar Harshul, Varma Vishnu, Yadav Laxmi, Shubham Singh, Sanjesh Rathi
Abstract: This study developed and assessed a herbal gel comprising extracts of betel leaf (Piper betle) and clove (Syzygium aromaticum) for topical use. Herbal extracts were prepared by Soxhlet extraction and analyzed for yield, phytochemical profile and total phenolic content (TPC). The phytochemicals present were alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins and phenols, and glycosides, with a greater phenolic content for clove extract. Herbal gels were prepared using Carbopol 934 and assessed for properties, …

Immune Dysregulation and Cytokine Circuitry in Genital Endometriosis: Mechanistic Insights and Next-Generation Immunotherapeutic StrategiesBy Yadav Laxmi, Shubham Singh, Sanjesh Rathi
Abstract: Genital endometriosis is increasingly recognized as an immune-mediated inflammatory disorder driven by complex interactions between dysregulated immune cells, cytokine hubs, and microbiome-derived modulators. This review introduces a novel “immune–cytokine circuitry” framework that unifies innate and adaptive immune abnormalities with key cytokine loops sustaining chronic inflammation, angiogenesis, neuroinflammation, and immune tolerance. Within this circuitry, macrophage polarization, dendritic cell immaturity, NK-cell anergy, Treg expansion, Th17 amplification, and B-cell–mediated autoimmunity converge to establish …

Pharmacological Comparison of Turmeric and Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs in Pain ReliefBy Varma Vishnu, Parmar Harshul, Shubham Singh
Abstract: Pain is one of the most frequently encountered clinical symptoms affecting millions globally and is typically treated pharmacologically with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). However, long-term use of NSAIDs is associated with adverse effects such as gastrointestinal, renal, and cardiovascular issues. In recent years, turmeric and its main active compound, curcumin, have received considerable attention for their reported anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antioxidant properties as natural therapeutic options. This review seeks to …

Nanomedicine in the Tumor Microenvironment: Physiological Modulation Through Tissue Engineering ApproachesBy Parmar Harshul, Varma Vishnu, Shubham Singh
Abstract: The integration of nanomedicine and tissue engineering offers transformative strategies for cancer therapy by directly modulating the physiological processes within the tumor microenvironment (TME). This review emphasizes recent advances in nanomedicine that enable precise drug delivery, controlled release, and real-time monitoring of key physiological parameters influencing tumor progression, angiogenesis, and immune evasion. Tissue-engineered 3D tumor models provide physiologically relevant platforms that better mimic in vivo conditions than traditional 2D cultures, …
