Abstract: Scabies remains a pervasive global health issue, with a need for more effective topical treatments. This research focuses on the formulation and evaluation of a clove oil-based gel containing eugenol, the primary bioactive component, for the treatment of scabies. Eugenol’s well-documented antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and ant parasitic activities make it an ideal candidate for targeting Sarcoptes scabiei, the mite responsible for scabies.
