Abstract: Rapid and accurate detection of wound infections in field settings remains a critical challenge in emergency and military medicine. Conventional microbiological diagnostics are time- consuming and laboratory-dependent. Bacteriophages, particularly lysogenic phages, offer high specificity toward bacterial hosts and can be engineered as diagnostic tools.
