Assessing the Effectiveness of New Fungicides Against Potato Late Blight Disease (Phytophthora Infestans)
Abstract: An experiment was conducted in the field of the Plant Pathology Division, Regional Agricultural Research Station (RARS), Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI), Jamalpur, Bangladesh during the rabi season of 2024–2025 to determine the appropriate chemical fungicide for controlling late blight disease of potato. The evaluation included twenty-five new fungicides approved by the Pesticide Technical Advisory Committee (PTAC), Bangladesh, along with a standard control (Ridomil Gold MZ 68 WG) and an …

Regression Analysis of Topological Indices and Physicochemical Properties of Polymer-Based Anticancer Drugs
Abstract: The research analyzed the quantitative correlation between topological indices and the physicochemical properties of selected anticancer compounds using regression analysis. Various topological descriptors—such as the First Zagreb Index, Second Zagreb Index, and Forgotten Index were calculated and regressed against key molecular features, including polar surface area, melting point, and molar refractivity. The regression analysis revealed linear correlations between these topological indices and the properties of anticancer drugs, with particularly strong …

Agronomic Performance, Harvest Dynamics, and Oil Yield of Lemongrass Varieties in a Semi‐Arid Ecosystem: Effects of NPK Regime and Harvest Timing
Abstract: This study investigated the agronomic performance, biomass production, and essential oil yield of three lemongrass (Cymbopogon spp.) varieties (CKP-25, Krishna & Pragati) under varying NPK fertilization regimes and harvest timings in a semi-arid ecosystem. A split-plot factorial design with four nutrient levels (Control, 50%, 100%, and 150% of the recommended NPK dose) and two harvest stages (90 and 180 days after planting, DAP) was implemented. Results revealed that both NPK …

The Relationship between Presentation of Online Self and Conscientiousness in Emerging Adults in India
Abstract: With the rise of social media use, understanding how individuals curate their online presence and experiment with different aspects of their digital identity is crucial in determining whether their online self is an extension of their offline identity or a distinct construct. This necessitates an examination of personality traits, particularly conscientiousness, to explore its role in online self-expression. Existing research suggests that individuals with high conscientiousness tend to maintain consistency …

Correlation Between Agronomic and Stem Borer (Sesamia Calamistis) Resistant Traits In Sorghum (Sorghum Bicolor (L.) Moench)
Abstract: Stem borer (Sesamia calamistis) infestation remains a significant challenge in sorghum (Sorghum Bicolor (L.) Moench) cultivation, leading to substantial yield losses in Nigeria. This study is aimed at investigating the interrelationship between agronomic and resistant traits of stem borer (Sesamia calamistis), and its influence on selection. The study was carried out at the research field of Plant Breeding Unit, Department of Agriculture Biotechnology, National Biotechnology Research and Development Agency. Forty …

A Geospatial Analysis of Correlation Between Built-up Area and Vegetation Coverage using Google Earth Engine in Saint Martin Island, Bangladesh
Abstract: Background: This study explores the complex interconnection between expanding human settlements and fluctuating plant life on the island of Saint Martin, Bangladesh, utilizing cutting-edge geospatial techniques through the open-source Google Earth Engine platform. The rapid population boom in Bangladesh and tourism-fueled development on Saint Martin Island stir serious worries about their ecological consequences. Methods: Remote sensing data sourced from Landsat 5 TM and Landsat 8 OLI/TIRS satellites between 1991 and …
