Enhancing Abiotic Stress Tolerance in Banana (Musa spp.) Using In Vitro Methods and Conserving Germplasm
Abstract: Both biotic and abiotic stressors are the main factors limiting banana output. Research on biotic stressors in bananas has received enough attention globally, whereas abiotic stressors receive less attention. Water availability, salinity, and a wide variety of temperatures are the main problems that must be resolved to maintain banana farming in the twenty-first century. Samples were introduced with water, salt and heat stresses in invitro condition. Under different stress and …

Mystic Malignant Melanoma Modalities
Abstract: Melanoma is a highly aggressive form of cancer with four recognized subtypes. In about 90% of cases, melanoma is diagnosed as a primary tumor, without signs of spreading. If caught early, the survival rate is quite high, reaching around 94%. However, for metastatic melanoma, the survival rate drops significantly to about 40%. Diagnosing melanoma can be tricky, as it shares features with benign conditions like seborrheic keratosis, benign moles, blue …

Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice Regarding Breast Cancer and Its Prevention Among Adolescent School-Going Girls
Abstract: Introduction: Breast cancer claims the lives of over 500,000 women globally each year. In low-resource settings, most women are diagnosed at an advanced stage of the disease, resulting in low 5-year survival rates, typically ranging between 10 and 40%. However, in regions where early detection and basic treatment are both available and accessible, the 5-year survival rate for early-stage localized breast cancer can exceed 80%. Objectives of the Study: The …

Role of PI3K/AKT/mTOR Signaling Pathways in Breast Cancer
Abstract: Abstract: Breast cancer is among the most commonly diagnosed cancers and remains a leading cause of mortality among women globally. Although early detection and interventions aimed at curtailing tumor progression have significantly improved breast cancer survival rates, there is an ongoing demand for more potent systemic therapies to effectively prevent metastasis. A central pathway frequently associated with the growth, survival, and motility of breast cancer cells is the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling …

A Review on Unmasking Merkel Cell Polyomavirus: From Discovery to Cancer Driver
Abstract: Merkel cell polyomavirus (MCPyV) is a small, non-enveloped, circular double-stranded DNA virus belonging to the Polyomaviridae family, first characterized in 2008. Epidemiological data suggest widespread exposure, with seroprevalence rates approaching 80% in adults. While primary infection is typically asymptomatic, rare integration events in Merkel cells can initiate oncogenesis, yielding Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC), a neuroendocrine skin cancer with a five-year survival rate under 60%. This review integrates findings from six …

Toxicological Profiling and Safety Assessment of NASAT 2.0: A Conceptual Framework for Adaptive Nanoparticle Therapy in Rabies
Abstract: Rabies, caused by the highly neurotropic Rabies lyssavirus, remains one of the most enigmatic and universally lethal infectious diseases known to modern medicine. Once clinical symptoms manifest following successful neuroinvasion, the fatality rate approaches absolute certainty (approximately 99.9%), a staggering statistic that has remained largely unchallenged despite massive, concurrent advances in modern virology, critical care medicine, and cellular immunology. Current late-stage therapeutic protocols, most notably the widely debated Milwaukee Protocol, …
