Detection of Fault and Protection of Faulted Distribution Feeder with Field Programmable Gate Array Using State Diagrams
Abstract: A hardware-efficient algorithm for fast fault-detection in feeders radiating out of a distribution substation and its subsequent clearance from the system for safe operation of the healthy parts has been presented in the paper. State diagrams used to design the circuit. The general purpose SPARTANE 3AN FPGA kit has been employed for developing the protective over-current relay. All the coding has been done using the hardware description language VERILOG. To avoid …

Structural, Electronic and Optical Properties of ZnO Material Using First Principle Calculation
Abstract: Structural, electronic and optical properties have been determined by using first principle calculation for ZnO material. In present study, full potential linearized augmented plane wave method has been selected with generalised gradient approximation executed in WIEN2k. Structure of ZnO material stabilises in the Wurtzite form of hexagonal closed packed crystal with lattice constant a=3.289Å, c= 5.307Å. Density of states and band structure diagram of ZnO material shows semiconductor nature with …

Predictability of Equation of State (EoS)-based Gas Hydrate Models for Single and Binary Gas Mixtures
Abstract: The better models are necessary to design and understand the phase behavior of produced trapped natural gas from natural gas hydrates from subsea environments. Most of the models available in an open literature are primarily applicable at relatively low pressure condition thus making their use very limited for gas hydrate reservoir modeling. In order to produce methane from these gas hydrates, it is important to understand the phase behavior through …

Simulate a Deterministic Finite State Automata (DFA) Using Java Program
Abstract: Finite automata are computing devices that accept/recognize regular languages and are used to model operations of many systems find in practice. Their operations can be simulated by a very simple computer program. Automata simulators are pedagogical tools used to teach, learn and research automata theory. An automata simulator takes as input the description of an automaton and then simulates its working for an arbitrary input string. The description of the …

Study of Signal Processing Using Applications of Fourier Series
Abstract: This essay discusses the use of the Fourier series in the field of signal processing. It will include the results of various tests performed on the variable and the results it produces in the form of graphical diagrams. In order to acquire the right information exchange, we have observed a variety of distinct frequency pattern graphs. Also, the stated graph of filtered signal provides unique pattern that may find application …

Review on Chemical Separation of Crude Oil and Analysis of Its Components
Abstract: Crude oil is chemically composed of a complex mixture of hydrocarbons of different gaseous, liquid and solid states, the total of which may reach more than 17,000 organic compounds. At standard conditions of pressure and temperature the light hydrocarbons with carbon numbers 1 to 4 (methane, ethane, propane, butane) are present in gaseous form; Whereas pentane and the heavier hydrocarbons are found in liquid form, and in the heavy fractions …

Two Phase Retrial Queue Evaluation Using DEMATEL (Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory)
Abstract: In this study, retrial queues are characterized by calls that detect that all servers are busy joining the review team, and retrying their demands in random order and at random intervals. If the server is found to be busy, customers can join the review team at a random time. But they keep making the same demands, at random or at set intervals. Recurring queues are widely used to model many …

A Study of The Components of State-of-The-Art Agro-Based Management Information Systems in India
Abstract: This paper discusses the basic technologies that are required to develop state of the art agro-based management information systems (MIS) in India. It features a brief review of how agro-based MIS have developed from word of mouth information systems to complex computerized MISs having multiple sources and consumers of information. The value of timely, relevant and accurate dissemination of agro-based information to the farming community for enhancing productivity in agriculture …

Synthesis and Characterization of VO 2+ doped SrMg 2 (PO 4 ) 2 Nanopowder by Solid State Reaction technique suitable for White LED material
Abstract: VO2+ doped SrMg2(PO4)2 nanopowder was synthesized by using solid state reaction (SSR) technique. Various experimental techniques have been performed on prepared sample. XRD analysis has revealed that prepared nanopowder is in monoclinic phase. The average crystallite size, micro strain and dislocation density evaluated and make an analogy with W-H plot method. SEM micrographs shows that agglomerated stone like structure and EDS spectrum shows elemental compositions of synthesized sample. FTIR spectrum …
