Unsupervised Probabilistic Debugging
Abstract: We presented an unsupervised probabilistic approach for the debugging of the programs; where the focus is on diagnosing the wrong answers based on the proposed unsupervised semantic parsing algorithm. This approach can be implemented over other programming language. The parsing of the test cases are heuristically employed with the proposed parsing algorithm which reduces the computational complexity and rationally give better performing algorithms.

Comparison of Models of Machine Learning and Hyperparameter Optimization Methods on Various Datasets
Abstract: The most likely phase in achieving powerful and robust machine learning models is probably the hyperparameter tuning step. The traditional exhaustive methods of search (grid search and others) ensure that the search space is covered, but are computationally inexpensive; random search is less expensive and can still miss good regions; and lastly, the modern model-based and population-based methods (Bayesian optimization, tree-structured Parzen estimator (TPE), genetic algorithms) are thought to provide …

Reducing the Dimensional Dependence for Rank-based Similarity Search
Abstract: In this paper, we try to introduce a data structure for k-NN search, the Rank Cover Tree (RCT). The pruning tests for RCT rely on the comparison of similarity values not on the other properties of the underlying space, such as the triangle inequality. Objects are selected according to their ranks with respect to the query object, allowing much tighter control on the overall execution costs. Theoretical analysis shows that …
