Environmental Impact of Ghaf Tree (Prosopis cineraria) on Heavy Metals Concentration in Atmosphere
Abstract: The Ghaf is a hardy tree, drought-resistant, and can grow up to ten meters in height, it tree produces small, yellow flowers which attractive to many habitats, like bees, insects, and birds. The leaves and pods of the Ghaf tree have significant antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and can be used in new drug development. Ghaf trees can adapt to changing environmental conditions and planting Ghaf trees could be an effective …

An experimental investigation of Prosopis Juliflora Biodiesel’s performance and emission characteristics
Abstract: Fossil fuels are currently in crisis due to their higher cost, their increasing use, and their scarcity. In view of the large number of cars on the road and the emission levels caused by combustion ignition engines, fuel substitutes are sought. Diesel is the most expensive fuel on the market, so biodiesel is a good alternative. Aside from its low toxicity, it reduces greenhouse gas emissions, does not emit sulphur, …

Mechanical Characterization of Prosopis Juliflora Fibre-Reinforced Epoxy Composites for Sustainable Automotive Applications
Abstract: This study investigates the potential of Prosopis juliflora (PJ) fibre as an eco-friendly, economical, and mechanically efficient reinforcement for epoxy-based polymer composites. Composite samples were produced using the compression moulding technique with epoxy-to-fibre weight ratios of 90:10, 85:15, and 80:20. Mechanical tests, including tensile, flexural, impact, and hardness evaluations, were conducted in accordance with relevant ASTM standards. The incorporation of PJ fibre resulted in significant improvements in the mechanical behaviour …

Comprehensive Study on the Mechanical And Tribological Response of Waste Tyre Rubber–Natural Fiber Hybrid Epoxy Composites
Abstract: Research into the mechanical and tribological characteristics of Prosopis juliflora-fiber reinforced epoxy-matrix composites with recycled tyre rubber particles is the focus of this investigation. Making use of old tire rubber and bio-reinforcing with fibers from the common invasive plant Prosopis juliflora are the goals of the two-reinforcement technique. The end goal is to produce long-lasting, cost-effective engineered composite materials with improved performance. A constant epoxy resin matrix was used to …

A Study on Improving CBR Value by using EPE foam in Addition to GGBS Slag for Subgrade Soil
Abstract: This paper identifies the use of industrial by-product Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS) as a stabilizing agent in expansive soil with high swelling property causing severe damage to buildings built on it, and this study identifies the optimal percentage of GGBS for increasing the strength of clayey soil. Using GGBS slag to improve the CBR value of subgrade soil can have potential benefits. Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS) …

Uncovering the Types: Health Benefits of Millets: A Review
Abstract: Given the current conditions of shifting dietary preferences, population growth, and unchecked exploitation of natural resources, there are not enough resources to ensure that everyone has access to a healthy diet. Since natural plant resources are quickly running out, other options must be investigated. In addition to the basic crops, such as wheat and rice, many other underutilised crops are also consumed, many of which have the potential to replace …

Millets as a Sustainable Crop for Nutritional Security: Addressing Malnutrition Challenges
Abstract: Millets are cereal crops belonging to the Poaceae family, which is the scientific name for the grass family. They are classified into two main groups: major millets which include Sorghum, Pearl, Finger millet, and minor millets, such as Little, Foxtail, Proso, Barnyard, and Kodo millet. India is the chief producer of millets, with an annual production of more than 17 million tonnes. This accounts for 80% of Asia’s millet production …

Bird-Tree Associations and Co-occurrence Patterns in Delhi: Implications for Urban Ecological Restoration and Invasive Species Management
Abstract: Urban trees and birds are intertwined indicators of ecological resilience in cities. This study maps citywide bird-tree interactions in Delhi, India, hosting more than 300 avian species. The city was divided into hexagonal grids, and bird-tree data (506 interactions) were collected through field surveys across 131 sites using standardised 1-kilometre transects. Native keystone species like ficus supported the greatest bird diversity, while invasive Prosopis juliflora was widely used for perching …

Functional Outcomes in a Client with Hemiglossectomy and Segmental Mandibulectomy: A Case Report
Abstract: Glossectomy and mandibulectomy are one of the most common surgical procedures carried out to remove oral tumors. To date, only a few studies have been published regarding the functional outcomes in an individual who have undergone both glossectomy and mandibulectomy. It is important to document detailed changes in speech subsystems, swallowing, and QoL. As a result, the current study focuses on the nature of speech impairment, swallowing difficulties, and quality …
