Design and Analysis of Microstrip Band Reject Filter with Modified Rectangular and Hexagonal Shape Ground Structure
Abstract: In this proposed paper, the performance of band stop filter with modified ground structure is examined; the modified ground structure includes four rectangular and a hexagonal etched shapes in ground plane. Parameters of the proposed design were calculated at the cut off frequencies of f1=1.16 GHz, f2=1.89 GHz and also proposed designs having substrate height of 1.6 mm, loss tangent of 0.02 and dielectric constant of 4.4. Results are calculated …

Design and Analysis of Microstrip Band Stop Filter with Modified Circle and Dumbbell Shape Ground Structure
Abstract: In this proposed paper the performance of Band stop filter with modified ground structure is analyzed in this specific work; the modified ground structure includes a circle and dumbbell etched shapes in ground plane. Parameters of the proposed configuration were calculated at the cut off frequencies of f1=1 GHz, f2=1.62GHz and also proposed designs having substrate height of 1.6 mm, loss tangent of 0.02 and dielectric constant of 4.4. Results …

Design and Analysis of Multi Band Patch with Enhanced Bandwidth
Abstract: In this article, a novel lower edge defected multi-band patch with modified ground structure (or Defected Ground Structure-DGS) with enhanced bandwidth has been presented. The bandwidth can be enhanced by defecting the partial ground and by arc truncation of lower edges of the patch. The antenna was converted into multi-band by defecting the lower corners. The antenna is resonating at multiple bands i.e. 3.7 GHz, 7.87 (~7.9) GHz, 12.19 (~12.2) …

Wideband Bandstop Filter Using Triangular SRR-DGS
Abstract: This article presents a dumbbell shaped triangular split ring resonator (SRR) in the design of wideband bandstop filter. Initially, a conventional dumbbell shaped triangular defective ground structure (DGS) is used to realize the single bandstop filters at the frequency of 3.55 GHz. This triangular shaped DGS structure is modified to a new structure to realize a wideband bandstop filter characteristics with the frequency range of 3.3 to 4.5 GHz which …
