Fullerene: Properties, Synthesis and Application
Abstract: In this paper, a detailed study of fullerene is presented. Fullerene is the allotrope of carbon. These are also called as buckyballs. Their properties, synthesis and applications are discussed in this paper. Fullerene synthesis is done by arc discharge method and analysis is done by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Synthesis process shows that C60 and C70 are produced at 1000 ℃ and that the concentration increases as pulse duration …

Chlorophyll-Mimicking Ti₃C₂Tₓ MXene-Conjugated Polymer Nanocomposites: Nature-Inspired Exciton Funneling Architecture for Ultrahigh Photon-to-Electron Conversion in Organic Solar Cells
Abstract: Green plant photosynthetic machinery is one of the most efficient natural systems for harvesting solar energy and converting it into useable electronic charge. Specifically, chlorophyll molecules in the Light-Harvesting Complex II (LHC-II) achieve nearly unity quantum yield via a well-organized Förster Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET) mechanism that enables excitons to migrate towards reaction centers. This study presents a bio-inspired nanocomposite architecture using two-dimensional Ti₃C₂Tₓ MXene nanosheets functionalized with chlorophyll-mimicking porphyrin …

The Principles and Applications of Structural Symmetry in Natural and Engineered Systems: A Comprehensive Review
Abstract: Structural symmetry is a fundamental constraint across scientific domains, dictating the stability, functionality, and efficiency of systems from the subatomic to the macroscopic. In physics and chemistry, symmetry is mathematically defined through Group Theory, specifically point groups (e.g., Cnv, Oh). These groups govern molecular orbital interactions; high-symmetry configurations, such as the icosahedral C60 fullerene, achieve optimal energy distribution and structural resilience. In Structural Biology, symmetry is an evolutionary strategy for …
