Induction of Specific Cytotoxic Lymphocytes in Goats Vaccinated with Fractionated Antigens of Brucella melitensis 16M
Abstract: The present study investigated the ability of different fractionated antigens of Brucella melitensis 16M to induce cytotoxic T-lymphocytes. For this study, soluble Lipopolysaccharide and outer membrane protein antigens were fractionated by using gel filtration chromatography and found 6, 5 and 5 fractions respectively of each antigen. All the regions of antigens were analyzed for their ability to induce cytotoxic T-lymphocytes. This study investigated that SAG5, LPG1 and OMPG4 induce maximum …

Immunologic Characteristics of Apparently Healthy Nigerians Exhibiting Abnormal SPE: A Preliminary Study
Abstract: Abnormal serum protein electrophoresis patterns have been discovered in apparently healthy Africans in Britain and Ghanaians living in Accra, Ghana. Conflicting reasons were suggested for this phenomenon. The aim of present study was to determine the prevalence and characteristics of serum protein electrophoresis (SPE) abnormalities in apparently healthy Nigerians living in Ogbomoso. Three hundred (300) apparently healthy subjects aged 20–30 years were selected for the study. SPE was performed on …

An Immuno-informatics Approach for the Design of Subunit Vaccine for Non-human Homolog Proteins of A.aegypti Species
Abstract: Mosquito borne diseases account for a major fraction of vector-borne diseases that account for significant morbidity amongst the population worldwide. The prevalence rate of mosquitoes in the common habitable area is so high that even after the implementation of several eradication programs their disease-causing rate is still quite significant. A.aegypti and A.albopictus are two prominent species of genus Aedes, which transmit viruses causing several infectious diseases such as dengue, zika …
