A Comprehensive Study of Radial Load Fluctuation on Alloy Wheels for Electric Vehicles
Abstract: Electric Vehicle’s alloy wheels are designed to allow for better heat dissipation. Manufacturers carry out many tests of a wheel to be sure, that the wheel will fit for safety reason as also their comfortability level is even bigger. Therefore, a specific design was selected for which the simulations of alloy wheel were performed under real loading conditions. The main objective of this research is to analyze the effects of …

A Study on Cancer Related Fatigue and Quality of Life (QOL) among Women Undergoing Treatment for Various Cancers in Selected Tertiary Care Hospitals of Ludhiana, Punjab
Abstract: Cancer is a collection of illnesses marked by irregular cell proliferation that has the potential to infiltrate or metastasize to different areas of the body. Gynecological cancer specifically refers to the abnormal cell growth in the female reproductive tract, including various organs such as the endometrium, fallopian tubes, ovaries, uterus, cervix, vagina, and breast. These cancer cells have a tendency to multiply uncontrollably. The majority of individuals diagnosed with cancer …

Role of Fatigue and Creep in Structural Damage: A Comprehensive Review
Abstract: Fatigue and creep are two critical degradation mechanisms that significantly influence the structural integrity and longevity of engineering materials. These phenomena arise due to different loading and environmental conditions but often coexist in various industrial applications, leading to severe material degradation over time. Fatigue primarily results from cyclic loading, where repeated stress variations induce microstructural damage and crack initiation, ultimately causing catastrophic failure. Conversely, creep occurs under sustained stress at …

Prediction of Depth-Induced Stress Distribution and Maintenance Cost Implications for Submerged Structural Components
Abstract: This study investigates the influence of water depth on stress distribution and structural integrity of submerged mechanical components . Structural models fabricated from mild steel, stainless steel, carbon steel, and copper alloy were examined under hydrostatic loading corresponding to water depths between 30 cm and 150 cm. Results indicate that normal and shear stresses increased proportionally with depth due to intensified hydrostatic pressure. Mild steel exhibited the highest stress concentrations, …

Evaluating Epidemiological and Physical Risk Factors in the Development of Chemotherapy-induced Peripheral Neuropathy (CIPN): An In-depth Systematic Review and Meta-analysis
Abstract: Background of study: Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) encompasses a range of adverse effects caused by various cytotoxic medications and stands as a primary source of pain among individuals who have survived cancer. In instances of pronounced and sudden CIPN, it might become necessary to diminish chemotherapy dosages or discontinue their application. Currently, no efficacious strategy exists for proactively preventing CIPN, managing established chronic CIPN is constrained, and the risk factors …

Experimental Study on the Wear Mechanisms of Cutting Tools in High-Performance Machining
Abstract: Because high-performance machining (HPM) may increase output and improve product quality, it is essential for modern production. The quick wear of cutting tools under high-stress circumstances, however, presents serious difficulties that affect surface smoothness, tool life, and cost-effectiveness. Through an analysis of the impacts of cutting speed, feed rate, tool material, and cooling techniques, this work explores the wear processes impacting cutting tools in HPM. Advanced spectroscopy and microscopy procedures …

An Overview of Fanconi Anemia: A Genetic Disorder
Abstract: Fanconi Anemia (FA) is a rare genetic disorder caused by DNA repair defects due to pathogenic variants in one of 21 genes. It is the primary cause of inherited bone marrow failure, marked by pancytopenia. Clinically, Fanconi Anemia (FA) is associated with congenital malformations in multiple systems, resulting in progressive bone marrow failure and heightened cancer risk, especially in the urogenital region and the head and neck. There are approximately …

Abstract: The Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS) encompass 13 inheritable disorders affecting connective tissue. These conditions arise from genetic alterations impacting the structure of connective tissue. Every variant of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) exhibits distinct features and has specific diagnostic criteria. While certain traits such as joint hypermobility, skin hyperextensibility, and tissue fragility are common across all types of EDS. The range of clinical presentations spans from minor skin and joint looseness to severe …
