Expansive Soils and Identification Methods
Abstract: Expansive soil is a well-known type of difficult soil. It can cause critical damage to civil engineering facilities. The unfavorited physical, mineralogical, and engineering characteristics are the main reasons for the difficult nature of expansive soil. Understanding specific parameters and properties of expansive soil are important to categorize and identify swell potential. Furthermore, reviewing the most useful methods for identifying and measuring the expansive soil characteristics may help the engineer …

Characteristics of Geology in Khulna City Corporation (KCC) Area, Bangladesh
Abstract: This study represents the general characteristics of foundation soil in Khulna City Corporation (KCC) area. The KCC is situated in southwestern part in Bangladesh. Lithologically the area is composed of coarse to very fine silty sand, silt, silty clay, clayey silt and clay in various proportion. The SPT (Standard Penetration Test) value of the investigated area range between 0 and 7 from surface to 8 m deep. Here, the liquid …

Physicochemical Characterization of Niger crude for processing and transport
Abstract: Niger crude oil physic chemical properties which influence it processing and flow behavior was investigated in this study. The bulk characterization includes specific gravity, viscosity, pour point, freezing point, wax content, sulfur content, SARA fraction and the Colloidal Instability Index analyses. Results indicate that the crude oil is paraffinic, light and sweet with high wax content (24.8%).The rheological behavior studied from the viscosity variation show that it is very viscous …

Laser Ablation Technique to Synthesize Ag Nanoparticles in Harsh Environment During Conjugation with Ovalbumin and Their Effects on Candida albicans
Abstract: In this study was developed a rapid, easy, eco-friendly and free-polutions method to AgNPs synthesized which was laser ablation technique to bulk target silver in harsh environment which was SBF due to salts and ions content cause silver nanoparticle aggregated via the interactions among nanoparticles and components of the ionic solution. So, was add ovalbumin to achived long term stability of colloidal AgNPs solution because of this protien has been …
