Improvement of Yield of Bioactive Compounds and Antioxidant Activity of Moringa stenopetala Leaves by Optimizing Ultrasonic-assisted Extraction
Abstract: Ultrasonic-assisted extraction (UAE) parameters were optimized in this study using response surface methodology (RSM) to improve the total phenolic content (TPC), total flavonoid content (TFC), and antioxidant activity assessed using 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and 2,2’-azino-bis (3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) diammonium salt (ABTS) assays of Moringa stenopetala leaves.
