Behavior of Surface Polaritons on Cylindrical Semiconducting Materials at Nanoscale with Radius Dependence Frequency
Abstract: Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) is a physical property of the surface to investigate the important properties of optical behaviors for nanomaterial and biomaterial. It involves the excitation of electrons within a thin metal sheet by incident light at a specific angle, prompting them to propagate parallel to the surface. This sensitivity to external factors, such as changes in the refractive index of the surrounding medium due to molecular adsorption, underscores …

Theoretical Study of Surface Waves in Hexagonal Boron Nitride (hBN)
Abstract: Hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) is a wide bandgap semiconductor material in which Boron (B) and Nitrogen (N) atoms form hexagonal structure and has number of robust properties of technological importance. Boron nitride nanotubes (BNNTs) are very nice area of research in recent years. Its structure is similar to carbon nanotubes (CNTs) where carbon atoms are arranged in hexagon. hBN is also known as White Graphene. Various methods are employed to …

Green Synthesis of Silver Nanoparticles: Antifungal Efficacy Against Aspergillus niger and Agricultural Benefits
Abstract: Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are gaining significant attention in agriculture due to their potent antifungal properties. This study focuses on evaluating the antifungal effects of green synthesized AgNPs derived from Aloe vera leaf extract against the pathogenic fungus Aspergillus niger. The results indicate that the synthesized nanoparticles exhibited a strong absorption maximum at 550 nm, indicative of surface plasmon resonance. UV-Vis spectroscopy was used to analyze the nanoparticles, and the solution …

Nanostructured Catalysts for Sustainable CO2 Reduction: Advancing Green Chemistry and Polymer Composites
Abstract: This study provides a comprehensive analysis of advanced nanostructured catalysts designed to enhance the efficiency of artificial photosynthesis for sustainable fuel production. We systematically evaluated a range of nanomaterials—including metal oxides, plasmonic nanoparticles, and carbon-based composites—to determine their effectiveness in converting solar energy into storable chemical fuels. The catalysts were synthesized via sol-gel, hydrothermal, and green methods, and their properties were thoroughly characterized using XRD, SEM, TEM, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and …

Chlorophyll-Mimicking Ti₃C₂Tₓ MXene-Conjugated Polymer Nanocomposites: Nature-Inspired Exciton Funneling Architecture for Ultrahigh Photon-to-Electron Conversion in Organic Solar Cells
Abstract: Green plant photosynthetic machinery is one of the most efficient natural systems for harvesting solar energy and converting it into useable electronic charge. Specifically, chlorophyll molecules in the Light-Harvesting Complex II (LHC-II) achieve nearly unity quantum yield via a well-organized Förster Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET) mechanism that enables excitons to migrate towards reaction centers. This study presents a bio-inspired nanocomposite architecture using two-dimensional Ti₃C₂Tₓ MXene nanosheets functionalized with chlorophyll-mimicking porphyrin …
