Risk Factors Associated with Subclinical Mastitis in Dairy Cows: Implications for Microbial Dynamics, Environmental Influences, and Management Factors
Abstract: Subclinical mastitis is a prevalent yet often overlooked condition in dairy cows, leading to reduced milk yield and quality. This study examines the microbial dynamics, environmental influences, and management factors contributing to subclinical mastitis in dairy herds. Microbial agents, including bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Streptococcus uberis, are key contributors, with their ability to persist and form biofilms complicating detection and treatment. Environmental factors, including bedding quality, …

Subclinical Significant High Serum Immunoglobulin E Response to 20 Allergens: Age and Gender Based Study
Abstract: Background: Antigen-immunoglobulin E (IgE) reaction is an example of immediate allergic reactions. High serum IgE levels were reported in many diseases that linked to the multiple allergens. Objectives: This study aimed to measure the serum IgE against 20 allergens in patients who had a previous history of allergy due to unidentified precipitating factors. Methods: This retrospective study was conducted at the Al Zahraa Consultant Center for Allergy and Asthma that …

Hypothyroidism-A Common Health Issue
Abstract: Hypothyroidism is one among general health problem in India and also in worldwide. Data reveals prevalence of hypothyroidism in adult Indian population. Its prevalence was more in Female gender and older age. It affects approximately one in 10 adults in the study population. Subclinical hypothyroidism and anti-TPO antibody positivity were the other most common observations along with Clinical Hypothyroidism.

Interplay of Thyroid Dynamics in Type 2 Diabetes: A Comprehensive Analytical Study at Government Medical College, Kota, and Affiliated Hospitals
Abstract: Diabetes mellitus is a prevalent endocrine metabolic condition that causes significant morbidity and mortality globally. Innumerable metabolic processes within our bodies depend on thyroid hormones. Excess or deficiency in insulin or thyroid hormones might cause functional problems. The intricate relationship between thyroid disorders and diabetes has been recognized for a considerable period. Patients with diabetes have been known to experience thyroid malfunction, the most prevalent kind of which is hypothyroidism. …

Prolonged Antibiotic Use and Reproductive Challenges in Dairy Cows: Implications for Ovarian, Uterine, and Overall Reproductive Health
Abstract: The widespread use of antibiotics in dairy farming has raised concerns regarding its potential impact on reproductive performance. Prolonged antibiotic administration can disrupt endocrine regulation, alter ovarian function, impair uterine health, and compromise overall fertility in dairy cows. This review explores the multifaceted consequences of antibiotic exposure on reproductive physiology, highlighting its effects on hormonal balance, follicular dynamics, uterine microbiota, and embryo viability. Antibiotics may induce hormonal imbalances that interfere …

Nutrient-Mediated Activation of Cellular Signaling Pathways: Mechanistic Insights into Attenuation of Toxin Induced Inflammation in Food Animals
Abstract: Dietary and environmental toxins remain a persistent challenge in food animal production, where subclinical and clinical inflammation compromises health, productivity, and food safety. Toxin induced inflammation is driven by oxidative stress, mitochondrial dysfunction, and dysregulated immune signaling, resulting in impaired metabolic efficiency and increased disease susceptibility. Recent advances in nutritional science have revealed that nutrients act not only as substrates for growth but also as signaling molecules capable of modulating …

Assessment of Resting Heart Rate and It’s Association with Cardiovascular Risk in Young Adults
Abstract: Resting heart rate is an easily measurable physiological parameter that reflects autonomic nervous system balance and cardiovascular function. This article aims to assess resting heart rate and examine its association with cardiovascular risk in young adults. A comprehensive review of recent literature highlights that elevated resting heart rate is significantly associated with increased risk of hypertension, metabolic syndrome, endothelial dysfunction, and long-term cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. In young adults, resting …

Nutrient–Xenobiotic Crosstalk in Dairy Cattle: Implications for Metabolism, Immunity, Health, and Productivity in Resilient Dairy Development
Abstract: Dairy cattle are routinely exposed to a wide range of xenobiotics, including mycotoxins, heavy metals, pesticides, residues from veterinary drugs, and plant secondary metabolites, through feed, water, and environmental sources. These xenobiotics, being foreign to biological systems, can interfere with the absorption, metabolism, and utilization of essential nutrients, while also compromising immune function, organ health, and overall physiological performance. Chronic or subclinical exposure can reduce feed efficiency, disrupt energy and …

Cardiac Structural and Functional Changes in Anaemia: A 2D Echocardiographic Study in an Indian Population
Abstract: Anemia is a widespread global health concern, particularly prevalent in developing countries, like India, where it contributes significantly to cardiovascular morbidity. This study aimed to evaluate cardiac structural and functional changes in anaemic patients using 2D echocardiography and to assess correlations between haemoglobin levels and echocardiographic parameters. A cross-sectional observational study was conducted on 125 anaemic patients (defined as haemoglobin <13 g/dL in males and <12 g/dL in females) at …
