Prevalence of Rose Powdery Mildew in Different Districts of Himachal Pradesh, India
Abstract: The present investigation was done in the month of March to June and August to November to survey the powdery mildew infection on commercial greenhouses, nurseries and garden grown roses. Powdery mildew manifests as white to grayish patches of powdery growth on the surfaces of plant organs. Powdery mildew of rose was presented all rose growing areas of districts Bilaspur, Kangra, Mandi, Sirmour, Shimla and Solan during the years 2015 …

Control of Powdery Mildew of Sheesham (Dalbergia Sissoo) in India through Radionics Computer and Nanotechnology from Kuwait
Abstract: Powdery mildew is a common fungal disease caused by different fungi on different hosts including field crops, vegetable crops, fruit trees, ornamentals, and woody trees. Sheesham (Dalbergia sissoo) is one of the most common and important timber and woody trees in the Indo-Pak subcontinent. An experiment was conducted to control the growth/spread of powdery mildew caused by the fungus (Phyllactinia dalbergiae) growing on ‘Sheesham’ (Dalbergia sissoo) tree leaves. The infected …

Natural Occurrence and Isolation of Ampelomyces quisqualis (mycoparasite) Associated with Rose, Other Powdery Mildew Infecting Host Plants in Himachal Pradesh, India
Abstract: The presence of Ampelomyces spp. was quantified in naturally occurring powdery mildew infecting rose plants during the year 2015–2016. Powdery mildew infected rose samples were collected from the different rose-growing areas of Himachal Pradesh during the months of April–June and September–November. Relationships between Ampelomyces and Podosphaera pannosa were reported in four areas between September and November. Bilaspur, Mandi, Shimla, and Solan. However, there was no occurrence of Ampelomyces quisqualis in …

Green Synthesis of Silver Nanoparticles: Antifungal Efficacy Against Aspergillus niger and Agricultural Benefits
Abstract: Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are gaining significant attention in agriculture due to their potent antifungal properties. This study focuses on evaluating the antifungal effects of green synthesized AgNPs derived from Aloe vera leaf extract against the pathogenic fungus Aspergillus niger. The results indicate that the synthesized nanoparticles exhibited a strong absorption maximum at 550 nm, indicative of surface plasmon resonance. UV-Vis spectroscopy was used to analyze the nanoparticles, and the solution …

Hybrid Techniques in Mango Leaf Disease Identification: Evaluating Neural Networks and Support Vector Machines
Abstract: Mango leaf diseases pose a significant threat to mango production, impacting both yield and fruit quality. Early and accurate detection of these diseases is crucial for effective management. This paper evaluates the use of hybrid techniques, specifically the integration of neural networks (NNs) and support vector machines (SVM), in the identification and classification of mango leaf diseases. NN excel in extracting complex features from images, while SVMs are robust classifiers, …
