HPTLC Fingerprinting of Isoflavonoids and Metabolites Quantification from in vivo and in vitro Developed Parts of Pueraria tuberosa (Willd.) DC
Abstract: Pueraria tuberosa (Willd.) DC, a medicinally important plant, produces different types of isoflavonoids including Genestein. This plant requires conservation. In present study, callus was developed from in vivo tuber and in vitro seedling. Murashige and Skoog medium supplement with combination of BAP (6-Benzylaminopurine) (1.5mg/l) and 2,4-D (1.5mg/l) were found to be more effective. Fresh in vitro shoots produced from nodal explants of in vitro germinated seedling on MS medium supplement …

Isolation and Characterization of Glucuronide Compound from Luffa Tuberosa (Roxb.) for Potential Applications in Polymer Chemistry
Abstract: This study explores the isolation process of glucuronide compounds from Luffa tuberosa (Roxb.) using an efficient and cost-effective method. The extracted compound, Gypsogenin-3β-O-β-D-Methyl glucuronide, is characterized using spectroscopic techniques such as IR, NMR, and Mass Spectrometry. The polymeric nature of glucuronide-based compounds and their potential applications in polymer and composite materials are discussed. The findings highlight the suitability of glucuronide derivatives in biomedical, pharmaceutical, and polymeric drug delivery systems. Additionally, …

Effect of Vidarikand (Extracts) on Oxidative Stability of Ghee: A Comparative Study
Abstract: Antioxidant activities of vidarikand (Pueraria tuberosa) extracts were evaluated and compared with BHA, TBHQ, rosemary and green tea using a β-carotene bleaching assay, a 2, 2-diphenyl-β-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) assay and the Rancimat method. Phenolic content and antioxidant activity (β-carotene–linoleic acid model system and DPPH assay) of ethanolic extract of vidarikand was more compared to its aqueous extract. Ethanolic extract of the vidarikand was more effective in preventing the development of the …
