Single OTRA Based First Order Multifunction Filter
Abstract: A first order voltage mode (VM) multifunction filter has been proposed in this paper. It uses a single operational trans-resistance amplifier (OTRA) and few passive components. The same topology can be used for the implementation of first order low pass (LP), high pass (HP) and all pass (AP) filter functions. The LP and HP filters proposed here have variable gains and orthogonal tunability of gain and cut-off frequency. The theoretical …

Realization of Fourth Order Multifunction Filters Using Operational Transresistance Amplifier
Abstract: Design of analog filters, using single Operational Transresistance Amplifier (OTRA) as the active current mode building block, is presented. Five types of filters have been designed namely Low Pass, High Pass, Band Pass, All pass, and Notch. The order of the proposed filters is four. The theoretical results are verified with PSPICE simulation using 0.5m CMOS process parameters provided by MOSIS (AGILENT). Frequency responses for the presented filters are shown …

Voltage Mode Second Order Multifunction Inverse Filter Using Single OTRA
Abstract: In this paper, a single operational transresistance amplifier (OTRA) based voltage mode single input single output (SISO) second order multifunction inverse filter configuration is proposed. The configuration offers an electronically tunable pole frequency and a quality factor of 1 which remains constant for any value of pole frequency. All the five inverse filters viz. inverse low-pass, inverse high-pass, inverse bandpass, inverse notch and inverse all-pass are realized from the same …

Design and Performance Analysis of Microwave Filters and Resonators for High-Frequency Systems
Abstract: Microwave filters and resonators are fundamental components in high-frequency systems, playing a crucial role in signal selection, interference suppression, and frequency stabilization. This review presents a detailed analysis of design methodologies and performance characteristics of microwave filters and resonators used in modern communication and radar applications. Various filter topologies, including low-pass, high- pass, band-pass, and band-stop configurations, are examined with respect to their frequency response, insertion loss, selectivity, and bandwidth. …

Design of Multifunction Stethoscope with Auto Gastrointestinal Wriggle Detector
Abstract: As the acoustic stethoscopes can't compete with the magnified sound quality so the digital stethoscopes provides even better identification of conditions. The objective of this work is to design a digital stethoscope with multifunction modes, which provides sound analysis for different body signals acquired from heart, lungs and abdomen. Using this system a doctor can not only analyze the sounds but also identify the gastrointestinal wriggling occurrence in the human …
