Application of Polypyrrole/Lead Sulphide Nanocomposite in UV Light Assisted Photocatalysis and Gas Sensing
Abstract: The synthesis of ppy/lead sulphide nanocomposite was done using the co-precipitation method. The synthesized ppy/leadsulphide nanocomposite was characterized using Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Selected Area Electron Diffraction (SAED), X-Ray Powder Defraction (XRD), Fourier Transformation Infra-Red Spectroscopy (FTIR), UV-Vis Spectroscopy techniques. The optical bandgap of the synthesized ppy/lead sulphide nanocomposite was observed to be 3.48 eV. The synthesized material is crystalline, with an average crystallite size of 2.51 nm. The photocatalytic …

Sonochemical Methods to Prepare Composes
Abstract: This purview is to link major and minor chemical reactions. Subjective has various unknown chemical reactivity those have announced by ultrasound. Cavity generation followed by implosive collapse have secreted chemistry to some extent so as pervert to scheme as well. Applicability of ultrasound has studied over chemical stimulus, scrubbing atomizer, crystallization, emulsification, dissolution, dispersion, defoaming, degassing, floatation, homogenization etc. Synthetic catalytic routes has subscriptive issued ultrasonic reverberation to regain some …

Ag₂S–Ag Nanocomposites: A Bottom-Up Approach to Enhance Thermoelectric Power Factor at Near Room Temperature
Abstract: The intrinsic ductility, low toxicity, and naturally occurring abundance of silver sulphide (Ag₂S) have made it a potential thermoelectric material in recent years. However, high electrical resistance severely limits its practical application. Here, we present a thorough analysis of how metallic Ag nanoinclusions affect the structural, electrical, and thermoelectric characteristics of Ag₂S nanocomposites made using a simple bottom-up polyol approach. (Ag₂S)₁₋ₓAgₓ nanocomposites with an Ag content ranging from 0 to …

Micro Crack Formation in High Frequency-Electric Resistance Welding
Abstract: The present paper discusses about the formation of micro cracks in base metal adjacent to the weld area during High Frequency-Electric Resistance Welding (HF-ERW) of 10'' outside diameter pipe. The micro crack formation has been analyzed with respect to chemical composition, microstructure, inclusion level, welding parameters and angle of weld flow lines.

Corrosion Behavior of Steel in Reinforced Concrete
Abstract: There are many environments where steel is exposed to different types of cement as well as different water cement ration along with variable PH of water mixed during the preparation of concrete. Deterioration of steel in such environment causes corrosion and its rate depend upon the type of cement and type of environment because it not only corrode steel but also affect the concreting material as it contains various chemical …

Recent Advances in Crystal Defect Engineering of Semiconductor Photocatalysts for Sustainable Environmental and Energy Applications
Abstract: Semiconductor photocatalysis has emerged as one of the most promising green technologies for addressing environmental pollution and global energy challenges through solar energy utilization. Nevertheless, the practical application of conventional semiconductor photocatalysts is often limited by their narrow visible-light absorption, rapid recombination of photogenerated electron–hole pairs, insufficient active sites, and poor charge-transfer efficiency. Defect engineering has recently attracted significant attention as an effective strategy to overcome these limitations by deliberately …
