Effect of Rhizobium and PGPR inoculants in soybean (Glycine Max) on Productivity and Fertility in soybean (Glycine Max) –wheat (Tritium aesivum) cropping system under Vertisols of central India
Abstract: A field experiment was conducted at farmer’s field village Basoda (Vidisha) during kharif season 2018 and 2019 to study the effect of Rhizobium and PGPR inoculants on soybean (Glycine Max (L) Merr.). The residual effect of treatments applied in soybean was assessed on productivity of succeeding wheat (Tritium aesivum L.). The trial was set up in randomized block design with seven treatments and four replications. Rhizobium alone gave significant increase …

Study of Seed Germination and Protein Content of Four Varieties of Glycine max L. – A Miracle Crop
Abstract: Glycine max L. (Soybean) is an important source of high-quality proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals and other nutrients for both human beings and animals. The study was investigated on the seed germination, purity percentage and protein content of four varieties of Glycine max L. namely, JS335, JS9560, JS9305 and PK1042, collected from the Indian Agriculture Research Institute, Pusa, New Delhi (India). The experimental data showed that variety JS335 exhibited 85% germination, …

Principal Component Analysis of Black and Brown Seeded Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) Genotypes at Jimma and Bonga Southwestern Ethiopia
Abstract: Sixty-four soybean genotypes were evaluated for cluster analysis based on their morphological characters. The field experiment was carried out at Jimma and Bonga in south-western Ethiopia during the main cropping season of 2019. The experimental study was laid with simple lattice design with two replications. Data on 11 quantitative agronomic traits were gathered. For all of the examined variables, analysis of variance revealed substantial to very significant variations among genotypes. …

Effect of Seaweed Extracts Mediated Changes in Leaf Area and Pigment Concentration in Soybean under Salt Stress Condition
Abstract: In the present investigation, an attempt has been made to study the effect of SLF from Sargassum wightii and Ulva lactuca with or without chemical fertilizer on seed germination, growth, yield, pigment content and soil profile of Soybean (Glycine max L. Merr.). The seed germination, growth and yield parameters such as shoot length, root length, number of lateral roots, number of leaves, photosynthetic pigment concentration such as chlorophyll “a”, chlorophyll …

Effect of NaCl Stress on Seedlings Growth and Biochemical Changes of Soybean (Glysin max) Co-3
Abstract: Present study was investigated the effect of NaCl stress on seed germination, pigments content, protein and proline content of soybean (Glycine max L.). The soybean plant was exposed to increasing concentrations of 0, 50, 100 and 150 mM NaCl salt stress. The 7th day old plant was exposed to salt stress. The results indicated that increasing concentrations of NaCl salt solution showed decrease in the percentage of germination, pigments concentration, …

Leucoanthocyanidin Reductase (LAR) Gene Analysisin Reductase
Abstract: Leucoanthocyanidin reductase (LAR) catalyzes the synthesis of catechin that is first step in PA biosynthesis. LAR involved in production of the flavan-3-ol. LAR gene is involved in proanthocyanidine production in several plants. Proanthocyanidins are plant secondary metabolites and occur in a wide range of plants and play an important role in defense against herbivores. The analysis of 50 proteins by global alignment of EF148325 with other ortholog sequences which have …
