A New Numerical Method for the Analysis of Stress Concentration in Tension Specimen
Abstract: Analyzing the stress concentration in the critical region of a mixed boundary value elastic problem has always been an important area of interest in applied mechanics. In most of the cases, the problems were circumvented using a numerical solution. A numerical approach has been used to solve elastic problems of arbitrary shaped bodies subjected to mixed boundary conditions. The formulation of displacement potential function is used in finite difference method …

Assessment of a Wind Energy Conversion System for Sustainable Hydrogen Production by Alkaline Water Electrolysis in India: Effect of Geographical Location and Wind Turbine Type
Abstract: The use of wind energy for electricity generation and use of this electricity for hydrogen production by alkaline water electrolysis promises to be a truly sustainable scheme for the postulated hydrogen economy. This work addresses the feasibility assessment of a standalone wind energy based turbine generator system that meets the energy requirements of the electrolysis process at several locations in India. Energy requirement for electrolysis depends on the hydrogen production …

Interceptive Orthodontics A Short Review
Abstract: The term interceptive orthodontics used in this paper is defined as the prompt treatment of unfavourable features of a developing occlusion categorized as local factors, crowding and displacements of the mandible in closing from the rest position. Interceptive orthodontics is defined as a phase of science and art of orthodontics employed to recognize and eliminate the potential irregularities and malpositions in the developing dentofacial complex. Guidance of the eruption and …

Modelling of Large Elasto-plastic Deformations by EFGM
Abstract: Current work reports modelling and simulation of geometric and material nonlinearities arising due large elasto-plastic displacements in structural specimens by invoking enriched element free Galerkin method (EFGM). The displacement approximations are constructed by using moving least square approach. Standard displacement based approximations are modified by incorporating suitable enrichment functions depending on the nature of interfaces present in the components. Large deformations give rise to geometric nonlinearities which have been modelled …

Raspberry Pi-based Self-driving Car Technologies: A Review of Hardware and Software Integration
Abstract: An assessment of the state, possibilities, and difficulties of self-driving car technology. Autonomous vehicles (AVs), also referred to as self-driving cars, are automobiles that can navigate and function without the need for human involvement. They make decisions, sense their environment, and traverse routes safely by combining sensors, cameras, radar, lidar, and sophisticated algorithms. The advancement of autonomous vehicles holds the capacity to completely transform the transportation sector by enhancing security, …
