A Comprehensive Study on Improving Contact Lens Performance Through Various Approaches
Abstract: Contact lenses improve vision quality by correcting refractive errors and thus provide a convenient alternative to traditional eyeglasses. Apart from vision enhancement, they have multiple applications in cosmetics, drug delivery, and therapeutic use. The performance of these lenses depends on various factors such as material, design, fitting, and interaction between the lens and the eye. The selection of appropriate materials is crucial for maintaining optimal eye health. Properties like oxygen …

Rheological Studies of a Cross-Linked Polymer Gel System
Abstract: The petroleum accumulations are found associated with water and it is rarely obtained without accompanying water production. Water production is a major technical, environmental, and economic challenge associated with oil and gas extraction. Rheological findings are of fundamental importance for the development, manufacture and processing of innumerable products. Polymeric gels exhibit a wide range of rheological properties and they are stable both mechanically and thermally in most cases thus are …

Weldability of Aluminum Alloy Using Pulsed current Tungsten Inert Gas Welding Process forMechanical Properties: A Review
Abstract: In the TIG welding, also known as gas tungsten arc welding, metal components are bonded by applying heat or pressure. Inert gas is used in pulsed current welding to encapsulate the electrodes and weld pools. Tungsten inert gas is used in the complex welding process known as TIG welding. It alternates between amps operating at high and low levels. Here, increasing the current results in improved power production and weld …

Integration of Taguchi and MCDM Techniques for the Optimization of Experimental Parameters in Electrical Discharge Machining: A Research
Abstract: Electric discharge machining (EDM) represents a non-conventional approach to machining, particularly beneficial for processing hard-to-machine materials or components with high length-to-diameter ratios or intricate shapes. Widely employed across various industries such as automotive, chemical, aerospace, biomedical, and tool and die, EDM offers a unique method for achieving precise shapes and dimensions. Unlike traditional machining methods where form is attained through the interaction of the tool and workpiece, EDM operates without …

Hydrothermal modification of carbon fiber fabrics by ZnO nanorods for mechanical strengthening of CFRP laminates
Abstract: Hexagonal ZnO nanorods were produced on plain woven carbon fiber using a two-step seed-assisted hydrothermal procedure. By varying the process parameters such as molar concentrations, number of seeding cycles, and growth duration at a controlled growth temperature of 90 °C, it is feasible to produce ZnO nanostructures with a range of morphologies, including nanowires, hexagonal nanorods, and nanoflowers. The developed morphologies were examined using field emission scanning electron microscopy and …

Adsorptive Removal of Rhodamine-B Using Eco- Synthesized Green Tea–Aluminium Nanoparticles
Abstract: This study examines the use of Green Tea–Aluminium Nanoparticles (GT-Al NPs), a unique and eco-friendly adsorbent, to remove the dangerous Rhodamine-B dye from water. For characterisation, SEM, FTIR, TGA, and EDX were employed. We evaluated the effects of pH, temperature, dosage, contact time, and initial dye concentration on adsorption efficiency. First- and second-order pseudo models were used to characterize adsorption kinetics, and the Langmuir model explained equilibrium, as well as …

Bio Materials and Nanotechnology: Green Tea (Waste)– Aluminium Nanoparticles (Gt-Al Nps) For Methylene Blue Adsorption
Abstract: This study examines the adsorption of Methylene Blue (MB) dye from aqueous solutions using Aluminium Nanoparticles synthesized with green tea powder as a biological reducing agent. Methylene Blue, an aromatic phenothiazine dye, is widely applied in medical diagnostics and various industrial processes, but its uncontrolled release into water bodies leads to environmental pollution due to its intense colour, stability, and potential toxicity. Therefore, identifying an efficient and eco-friendly adsorbent for …
