Exploring Type-II Diabetes Potential of Phyto-Derived Carbon Dots
Abstract: The integration of phytoconstituents with carbon dots (C-dots) presents a novel and sustainable approach to the development of nanotherapeutics for type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). C-dots, zero-dimensional carbon-based nanomaterials, exhibit unique physicochemical properties including high fluorescence, tunable surface chemistry, biocompatibility, and low toxicity. Their ability to enhance the solubility, bioavailability, and targeted delivery of poorly soluble phytochemicals renders them highly suitable for biomedical applications. This study explores the synthesis of …

Exploring the Potential of Laser Ablation for Multi-functional Nanoparticle Production
Abstract: The extraordinary class of materials known as nanomaterials has come into being. A large variety of elements with minimum one dimension between 1 and 100 nm are included. Reasonably designed nanomaterials can have exceptionally large surface areas. Nanomaterials can be made to have exceptional mechanical, optical, electrical, magnetic, and catalytic properties that are very different from those of their bulk counterparts. To achieve the necessary features tuning, nanomaterials' size, shape, …

Green Synthesis and Evaluation of Electronic and Optical Properties of CdS/CdTe Quantum Dots
Abstract: The CdS/CdTe quantum dots (QDs), with altered concentrations of CdS, were synthesized using straightforward precursors through an environmentally friendly green method. The synthesized quantum dots were characterization by UV–visible absorption spectroscopy, Photoluminescence (PL), and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) to understand their electronic and structural properties. The average particle size is nearly consistent with the values derived from Brus's formula. The UV–visible spectra show a blueshift compared with pure sample, …

AQUASOMES: A Vesicular, Self-assembled Ceramic Nanoparticulate Drug Carrier
Abstract: Nano-biopharmaceutics involves delivery of biopharmaceutical product through different biomaterials like multi-functional nanoparticles, quantum dots, aquasomes, super-paramagnetic iron oxide crystals, and liposomes dendrimers. Aquasomes are considered as one of the most recently developed delivery systems for bioactive molecules like peptides, proteins, hormones, antigens and genes to specific sites. Aquasomes have a spherical shape and a particle size of 60–300 nm. These are three layered self-assembled nano-particulate carrier system. This three-layered structure …
