CPW feed Flexible Antenna for Wireless Applications
Abstract: Flexible Microstrip CPW Feed Antenna using flexible FR-4 substrate is analyzed and presented over here. The Copper is used as conductive material for patch and CPW feed respectively. The performance in terms of return loss, gain, VSWR and radiation pattern is evaluated. The impedance bandwidth and gain of flexible antenna is 20.25% (2.179 GHz-2.665 GHz), 21.44% (3.232 GHz-4.026 GHz) and 1.4 dBi, 0.009 dBi respectively. The flexible property of the …

A CPW Feed Compact UWB Antenna with Five Band Notches
Abstract: AbstractA novel small CPW feed UWB antenna with five notch bands is projected to suppress the potential interferences in ultra-wideband systems. This projected antenna has a small dimension of 30x32x1.6 mm3 and an operating bandwidth (VSWR<2) from 2.8 to 11.6 GHz. By introducing five U-shaped slots, five notches are achieved in WiMAX (3.1–4 GHz), WLAN (5–5.4 GHz and 5.7–5.9 GHz), X-band downlink (7.2–7.75 GHz), and ITU service band (8–8.4 GHz). …

CPW-fed Dual Sense Slot Antenna for Circular Polarization
Abstract: A novel compact dual-band and dual-sense circularly polarized coplanar waveguide (CPW) fed rectangular slot antenna is proposed. Dual-band and dual-sense is realized by a proper choice of the L-shape feed line and two parasitic elements inside the slot. A prototype dual-sense antenna is fabricated. The antenna has a compact size of 63.5×55mm2. Measured 3dB axial ratio bandwidth of the lower band with right hand circular polarization (RHCP) is 26.32% (1.435GHz …

Advanced Liquid Crystal Polymer Substrate for Flexible Antenna Design
Abstract: A type of thermoplastic polymers known as liquid crystal polymers (LCPs) is frequently used to package millimeter (mm)-wave, microwave, and radio frequency (RF) integrated circuits that operate at frequencies as high as 60GHz. LCPs are of prospective relevance as packaging material for advanced circuits at mm-wave frequencies due to their appealing electrical, thermal, and mechanical qualities and comparatively low cost. Flexible and conformal antennas are made possible by LCP's exceptional …

A CPW Fed Inverted E-Shape Microstrip Patch Antenna for Multi Band Applications
Abstract: In this paper a CPW fed multi band monopole antenna with inverted E-shape micro strip patch is presented for radar/satellite applications. Ansys soft HFSS simulator is used to simulate the antenna in this paper. The proposed antenna consists of inverted E shape patch including finite ground CPW feeding. The antenna is fabricated on 1.5 mm FR4 substrate which has dielectric constant of 4.4 and loss tangent of 0.02. The operating …

A Compact CPW-fed Quadruple-band-notched Antenna with Concentric Annular-rings for UWB Applications
Abstract: In this paper, a compact coplanar waveguide (CPW)-fed quadruple-band-notched antenna with concentric annular-rings for ultra-wideband (UWB) applications is presented. The proposed antenna consists of four concentric annular-ring resonators, a circular shape radiating element and a CPW feed line. The quadruple band rejection is easily achieved by controlling the widths and radii of four concentric annular-ring resonators. Through the exception of four stop-bands at 3.29 to 3.7 GHz, 5.07 to 5.92 …
