Abstract

A parameter study was performed of a novel printed quasi-Yagi antenna with regard to its design at microwave and millimeter wave frequencies and its application. A rectangular-shaped slot was incorporated into patch and Yagi antenna as a patch was used with a coplanar waveguide (CPW) as a feeding structure. Using same structure with different dimensions, the increment in frequency from 4.4 GHz to 30 GHz and the antenna gives better results and wide variety of applications. The simulation was performed in High Frequency Structure Simulator Software (HFSS).
