Insilico Study Showing the Chemical Properties and Interaction between Auxin-Binding Protein and Auxin-Responsive GH3-8 Protein in Rice
Abstract: Auxin plays an important role in the plant growth. There are different auxin binding and auxin responsive proteins which bind and interact with auxin hormone and helps for plant development. Two different rice proteins considered for study, one protein binding to auxin and another is the auxin responsive protein. The Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) crystallographic structures of both the proteins are not available at Protein Data Bank (PDB). So the …

Effect of Different Hormones on Plant Attributes and Yield of Field Pea (Pisum sativum L.)
Abstract: Field pea is the most valuable grain legume crop in India. The successive growth of plant depends on growth hormones that may be natural or artificial. The application of plant growth hormones has been demonstrated to enhance plant height, leaf area, leaf area index, crop growth rate, net assimilation rate, number of days to flowering, number of pods per plant, pod length and number of grains per pod. This study …

In vitro Responses of Indigofera tinctoria Linn. (Neela Amari)
Abstract: Indigofera tinctoria is an important medicinal plant of South and South-East Asia. These plants showed a low germination rate and scanty rooting of seedlings in conventional propagation. The tender leaves showed callus formation in MS medium with single auxin [Naphthalene Acetic Acid (NAA); 2, 4 Dichloro phenoxy Acetic acid (2, 4-D)]. Lower concentration of auxin showed better result. The explants showed callusing frequency of 95%. Even though both the auxins …

Recent Advances in Transition Metal Complexes with Phenyl Acetic Acid and Pseudo Halogen: Synthesis, Characterization and Applications
Abstract: A well established strategy is to introduce a biologically relevant organic molecule in coordination sphere of transition metal complexes to increase the selectivity and biocompatibility. Phenylacetic acid (PAA), an organic molecule with a phenyl functional group and a carboxylic acid functional group, is a phenylalanine that is generated from the naturally occurring auxin, which is extensively present in plants. The most promising outcomes in the battle against cancer and microbes …

Agricultural Chemistry: Advances in Soil Preservation, Fertilizers, and Plant-Protection Chemicals
Abstract: Agricultural chemistry plays a pivotal role in enhancing agricultural productivity by improving soil quality and providing essential plant nutrients. The use of fertilizers, plant-protection chemicals, and growth hormones has revolutionized crop production, ensuring higher yields and food security. This review delves into the chemistry behind soil preservation techniques, fertilizers, and plant-protection chemicals such as pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides. Emphasis is placed on the development and optimization of fertilizers that …

Differential Rooting Pattern Observed in Tissue Culture Regenerated Plantlets from Different Explants of Jatropha curcas L.
Abstract: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 In an attempt to optimize an in vitro regeneration protocol, both direct and indirect, from different explants of Jatropha curcas L., different rooting patterns were observed from the regenerated plantlets in different concentrations of auxins. The rooting pattern was classified into four types based on their morphology as hairy fibrous roots, tap root-type, thin long roots, and thick short roots. Observations …

A Rapid in vitro Propagation of Bambusa balcooa by Plant Tissue Culture Technique
Abstract: Bambusa balcooa is a common plant grown in Bihar, Orissa, Jharkhand and Uttarakhand states of India having good cultural importance. The present experimentation on nodal explants of B. balcooa on MS media supplement under particular culture conditions have shown shunted growth in 30 days. Shoot tip explants of B. balcooa seedlings produced multiple shoots on MS medium supplemented with different plant growth regulators (PGRs) individually and in combination. Shoot tip …

Comparative Study on the Effect of Growth Regulators on The Development and Multiplication of in vitro Germinated Orchids of Bangladesh
Abstract: Abstract‘In vitro’ culture response of different plant growth regulators was assessed in two indigenous medicinal orchid species namely, Acampe papillosa (Lindl.) Lindl. and Aerides odoratum Lour. orchid for optimum callus induction and plantlet regeneration. Leaf and nodal segments of in vitro grown seedlings of the both species were cultured on MS and PM (Phytamax) media supplemented with different concentration and combinations of plant growth regulators of Auxin and Cytokinins. The …

A Review on Micropropagation of Rare Plant Species: Ashwagandha
Abstract: Micropropagation is a technique of rapidly multiplying stock plant materials to large number of progeny plants. Some plant species available in the nature contains few traits of medicinal value. From those species, Withania somnifera is found to be rarely available, having medicinal value and also well in vitro regeneration. Most of the plant species especially like Withania somnifera are having medicinal values and cultivated on land even after their good …

A Review on Targeted Protein Degradation and Its Novel Therapeutic Approaches
Abstract: A new concept of drug development is drug-induced degradation of a target protein. Protein degradation is one of the cell's methods for permanently inactivating proteins. The Ubiquitin-Proteasome System (UPS) and autophagy are two main intracellular protein degradation pathways in eukaryotes. Autophagy has been shown to be induced by inhibiting proteasomal activities, suggesting a coordinated and complementary relationship between these two mechanisms. However, little is known about autophagy's function in UPS …
