Design and Ballistic Performance Assessment of Pattern-Optimized Lightweight Composite Armor Using ANSYS Explicit Dynamic and AUTODYN
Abstract: This study investigates the ballistic performance of lightweight composite armor panels designed to defeat 9 mm full-metal-jacket (FMJ) threats using high-fidelity numerical simulations. Four different composite materials were arranged into panels of identical overall dimensions; only the internal segment pattern was varied to explore geometric resistance effects while keeping mass and material type controlled. Ballistic impact simulations were performed using ANSYS Explicit Dynamics and AUTODYN to capture high-strain-rate behavior, local …

Design and Analysis of Advanced Body Armour
Abstract: Study on wounding patterns reveals that injury of upper and lower extremities due to ballistic projectiles accounted for -70% of all injuries which occur on the battlefield. This is due to the fact that currently employed body armours are rigid in nature, making it difficult for bending without affecting performance. An extensive review of the development and evaluation of cutting-edge body armor systems is provided in this paper. It examines …

Review on Electrical Wiring (Types, Sizes, and Installation)
Abstract: AbstractVarious influences that will affect our choice of electrical wiring involve color, label data with applications. The data-printed on the wire shell is totally that you requisite to select the right wire for the home. More often than not, the name (wire or cable) are applied to designate the similar thing, while they are essentially quite altered. Wire acts a single electrical conductor, whereas a cable is a group of …
