Performance Testing of Arduino-Based Hybrid Solar Dryer for Drying Apple Slices
Abstract: A novel and high-efficiency hybrid solar dryer was designed and developed in this study to dry apple slices. The thermal analysis of the dryer is conducted by calculating collector efficiency, drying rate, and drying efficiency. Integrating an Arduino-based temperature and humidity monitoring system in a hybrid solar dryer enhances the ability to optimize performance and efficiency. Both the collector and drying chamber are made of aluminum sheet as it has …

Non-Invasive Glucose Monitoring Device Using Max30102 Sensor
Abstract: Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder affecting millions globally, requiring continuous blood glucose monitoring to prevent complications such as cardiovascular disease, kidney failure, neuropathy, and retinopathy. Conventional invasive finger- prick techniques result in pain, skin irritation, and an increased risk of infection, which lowers patient compliance, particularly in young patients and the elderly. This paper presents a non-invasive glucose monitoring prototype using the MAX30102 optical biosensor interfaced with the …

Intelligent Machine for Food Quality and Safety Assessment
Abstract: This paper presents the development of an intelligent fruit and vegetable classification system aimed at reducing food waste and infections caused by spoiled items. Using artificial intelligence and sensor data, our system classifies items into three categories: ripe, unripe, and rotten, and employs servo motors to sort them into respective baskets. The classification process utilizes real-time temperature, humidity, and image data captured by the camera and processed by the laptop. …

Arduino-Based Embedded-Software for Offline and Web-Based Attendance System
Abstract: Embedded software originally controlled hardware but algorithm and software developed determine mode of control and action expected of the hardware. Arduino hardware microcontroller board called Arduino UNO is one of the best electronics boards with coding these days while many attendance systems developed today are mostly one-way. Many developing and underdeveloped countries cannot guaranty 24/7 electricity and strong network connection or data for fully online attendance system. Based on this …
