Advancements in Nutritional Science: Development and Storage Optimization of Weaning Foods
Abstract: Weaning is a crucial stage in infant development, marking the transition from exclusive breastfeeding to the introduction of complementary foods. This transition is essential for meeting the growing nutritional demands of infants, as breast milk alone is no longer sufficient after six months. However, many traditional weaning foods fall short of providing the required balance of macronutrients (proteins, fats, carbohydrates) and micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) necessary for optimal growth and …

Cow’s Milk Allergy: Prevalence, Diagnosis, and Alternative Formulations
Abstract: Cow’s Milk Allergy (CMA) occurs when the immune system reacts to proteins in cow’s milk, like casein and whey. In individuals with CMA, the immune system wrongly perceives these proteins as threats, causing allergic reactions when cow’s milk is consumed. Unlike lactose intolerance, which results from the body’s inability to digest lactose – a sugar in milk – due to a deficiency of the enzyme lactase, CMA is an immune …

A Study to Assess the Effectiveness of Structured Teaching Program on Knowledge Regarding Breastfeeding Positioning Among Postnatal Mothers in Selected Community Areas in Kanpur
Abstract: Breastfeeding plays a crucial role in promoting infant health by providing complete nutrition, enhancing immunity, and strengthening maternal–infant bonding. Despite its benefits, many postnatal mothers experience challenges, such as nipple pain, breast engorgement, fatigue, and ineffective feeding, often due to improper breastfeeding positioning and poor latching techniques. Limited awareness and lack of structured education further contribute to these difficulties. Educating postnatal mothers on correct breastfeeding positioning is, therefore, essential to …
