Identification of Papaya Fruit Ripening Process Using AI
Abstract: Identifying the ripening process of papaya fruit using artificial intelligence involves employing machine learning algorithms to analyze various features such as color changes, texture alterations and chemical compositions. This model is capable of analyzing visual cues to determine the stage of ripeness. The dataset compares images of papaya at various ripening stages, and our AI model demonstrated high accuracy in classifying these stages. Employing machine learning algorithms and image processing …

Aerosol to Suggest Climate Delineation
Abstract: Marine aerosol of submicron sized biogenic originated organic fraction is subtending persistently constitutively compared to drastic variation based on volcanic eruptions. Sulphur is studied to form acid aerosol where the basic constituent in the stratosphere is reduced comparatively. High concentrations of organic fraction have been found from aerosol in marine boundary layer (MBL). Marine aerosol chemical composition has been influenced by the yearly biological cycle of the ocean, and so …

Integration of Green-Synthesized Calcium Nanoparticles in Natural Polymer Matrices by Bio-Nanocomposite Approach to Calcium Fortification
Abstract: Calcium deficiency continues to pose a widespread nutritional challenge, particularly in vulnerable populations. In this study, a bio-nanocomposite-based fortification strategy was developed using calcium nanoparticles (CaNPs) synthesized via green chemistry from Sesbania grandiflora (Agathi keerai) leaf extract. The nanoparticles, ranging between 50–150 nm in size, were characterized by SEM and embedded into buckwheat flour a naturally polymer-rich food matrix containing proteins, starch, and dietary fibers. The resulting system mimicked polymer …

Determination of the Mechanical Properties of Shape Memory Alloys
Abstract: Shape memory alloys are materials which can be deformed by cooling below a certain critical temperature and then regain their original shape after heating above this critical transition temperature.. Shape memory alloys (SMAs) are a class of functional materials that possess unique thermo mechanical properties, such as shape memory effect (SME), super elasticity (SE), damping, and good fatigue and corrosion resistance, which enable them to become ideal materials for applications …

Capability Database of Injection Molding Process—Requirements Study for Wider Suitability and Higher Accuracy
Abstract: AbstractGenerally, there is little disagreement that an early consideration of dimensional accuracies achieved in production is conducive to the success of development of injection molding products. While different process capability databases (PCDBs) provide guidance for a meaningful estimation of the expected part variation, the adoption of corresponding guidelines and (proprietary) software tools seems to be, however, limited in industrial practice so far. This research paper addresses the gap between the …

Guanidine as a Starting Material for Preparing a Scale Inhibitor
Abstract: Oilfield scale inhibition, which can obstruct fluid flow in pipelines, valves, and pumps during oil production and processing, is critical for preventing scale formation. Effective scale inhibitors (SIs) minimize downtime and enhance productivity by preventing the build-up of insoluble crystals in water systems. In oil processing, scale formation results from the precipitation of salts due to incompatible aqueous phases, leading to equipment blockage. Phosphonates are highly effective chelating agents for …

Synthesis of Poly(Methyl Methacrylate) Latex Using Batch Emulsion Polymerization Reactor: Experimental and Simulation Study
Abstract: AbstractThe rationale for the present study was to develop Poly(methyl methacrylate) polymer latex, using free radical emulsion polymerization mechanism, in which water acted as the continuous aqueous phase, methyl methacrylate monomer as the dispersed phase, potassium persulfate (KPS) as an initiator and sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) as the stabilizing agent. PMMA is a versatile thermoplastic resin, used widely because of its excellent performance in optical and medical field. The characterization …

A Review of Modifications of Cement Slurry Formulations for Carbon Dioxide Storage
Abstract: Climate action, which includes activities aimed at mitigating climate change or reducing its adverse impacts, is the thirteenth goal of the 2030 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). Tthe successful commercial deployment of CCS technology would heavily rely on the integrity of the cement sheath used to complete the wellbores at the CO₂ storage sites. It has been established that the cement sheath made from conventional ordinary Portland cement (OPC) is not …

Advanced Coating Techniques: Improving Metal Longevity through Nanocomposite Applications
Abstract: In order to protect metal and lessen wear and tear, this topic has scriptive issues pertaining to coatings that are applied to metal surfaces. Components in slurry pumps have better wear and abrasion resistance compared to their surface properties. An interface region has been used to separate at least two immiscible phases in the material that makes up a nanocomposite coating. Fillers have become a major constituent of the matrix, …

Integrating Plant Selection, Planting Design, and Landscape Construction for Sustainable Site Development
Abstract: This paper explores the interrelationship between plant selection, planting design, and landscape construction in achieving ecologically sustainable and aesthetically pleasing outdoor environments. Plant selection involves choosing species that are well adapted to site conditions, ecological functions, maintenance regimes, and visual preferences. Planting design refers to the arrangement, composition, and spatial organization of plant materials to meet functional, aesthetic, and environmental objectives. Landscape construction encompasses implementation—from site preparation and planting through …

Biopolymer-Based 3D Composite Scaffolds for Bone Tissue Engineering: Photothermal-Responsive Systems with Controlled Pt (IV) Prodrug Release
Abstract: Biopolymer-based composite scaffolds have attracted significant attention as multifunctional platforms at the intersection of polymer science, regenerative medicine, and cancer nanotherapy. In this study, a dual-functional scaffold was developed for simultaneous osteosarcoma treatment and bone regeneration using poly (L-lactic acid) (PLLA) reinforced with bioactive glass (BG) and integrated with a glutathione-responsive platinum (IV) prodrug system (PDA@Pt). To improve interfacial adhesion, photothermal conversion efficiency, and tumor-specific activation, the Pt (IV) prodrug …
