Effect of Sinusoidal and Inverse sinusoidal Load on the Vibration and Buckling Behaviour of Laminated Composite Symmetrical and Unsymmetrical Trapezoidal Panels
Abstract: Using finite element (FE) techniques, this work analyzes the influence of sinusoidal and invers sinusoidal stresses on the buckling behavior of trapezoidal laminated composite panels (also known as trapezoidal laminated composite panels). The discretization of the composite panel is accomplished by the use of an eight-noded iso-parametric plate element, which has five degrees of freedom for each node. Due to the incorporation of Higher Order Shear Deformation Theory (HOSDT) into …

A Novel Approach to Ceiling Fan-Based System for Preventing Suicide by Hanging
Abstract: Suicide by hanging has become a significant public health issue in India. According to reports from the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), a considerable number of hanging cases are reported annually, with the majority being suicidal in nature. Homicidal cases disguised as hanging are extremely rare. Accurate differentiation between suicidal and homicidal hanging requires thorough examination of the crime scene in an undisturbed condition, followed by a detailed autopsy investigation. …

A Comparative Study of the Structure-Property Relationships in CAD/CAM Milled vs. 3D-Printed High-Performance Polymers: Impact of Molecular Orientation on Abrasive Wear
Abstract: Background: The transition from subtractive to additive manufacturing in prosthetic dentistry has introduced significant variations in the macromolecular architecture of high-performance polymers. While CAD/CAM milling utilizes high-density, industrially polymerized blocks, 3D printing (Additive Manufacturing) relies on layer-by-layer deposition, which may induce anisotropic molecular orientation. This retrospective study investigates how these distinct manufacturing "thermal histories" influence the long-term abrasive wear resistance of PEEK and PEKK restorations.Materials and Methods: Data were retrospectively …

Effect of Leading-Edge Roughness on the Aerodynamic Characteristics of the Wind Turbine blade
Abstract: Leading-Edge Roughness (LER) strongly dictates boundary layer transition and performance degradation on an airfoil operating at transitional Reynolds numbers, an aerodynamic regime where shear-layer stability mechanisms remain highly complex. The wind tunnel experiments were conducted to investigate the aerodynamic impacts of surface roughness applied over 25% of the chord of a NACA 0018 airfoil using two discrete roughness gradations. Surface roughness induces an early boundary layer trip, causing elevated section …
