Demodex spp. (Acari: Demodicidae) Infestation in Humans: Diagnostic Clues and Therapeutic Approaches to Primary and Secondary Demodicosis.
Abstract: Demodicosis represents an inflammatory dermatosis and adnexal disorder arising from pathologic overgrowth of Demodex mites, primarily Demodex folliculorum and Demodex brevis, which are ubiquitous human ectoparasites residing in pilosebaceous units and eyelid margins. Once regarded as benign commensals, these mites are now recognized as primary drivers or key cofactors in diverse clinical phenotypes, including papulopustular eruptions, pityriasis folliculorum, rosacea-like disorders, blepharitis, meibomian gland dysfunction, and exacerbations of comorbid dermatoses such …

Design and Validation of an Artificial Intelligence-Driven Digital Twin for Real-Time Monitoring and Control in Polymer Composite Manufacturing
Abstract: Polymer Matrix Composites (PMCs) have become indispensable in high-performance sectors such as aerospace and automotive engineering, offering exceptional strength-to-weight ratios that outperform traditional metals in many demanding applications. However, the reliability of manufacturing PMCs via Vacuum-Assisted Resin Transfer Molding (VARTM) is frequently undermined by stochastic process variabilities. Unpredictable fluctuations in thermal history, preform permeability, resin rheology, and ambient conditions often lead to some defects; namely voids, dry spots, and incomplete …

LQR-Based Optimal Control of Inverted Pendulum System with State Estimation and Stability Analysis
Abstract: The inverted pendulum on a cart is a canonical benchmark problem in control systems engineering, capturing the essential challenges of stabilizing an inherently unstable, underactuated, and nonlinear plant. Classical Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controllers, while widely employed in industrial practice, exhibit fundamental performance limitations when applied to such systems, primarily due to their inability to account for multivariable coupling, process noise, and the absence of a systematic optimization framework. This paper presents …

Computational Analysis of Leaf Spring System with Functionally Graded Materials Using ANSYS
Abstract: Leaf springs are important parts of a vehicle’s suspension system, and their main function is to absorb shocks, improve stability, and make the ride more comfortable. Traditionally, ASTM A36 steel is used because it is strong, long-lasting, affordable, and easy to get. However, this type of steel is very dense, which makes vehicles heavier. This extra weight makes the vehicle less efficient and increases emissions. Because of these issues, there …
