Study of Rehydration and Dehydration behavior of Scolecite by insitu Raman spectroscopy
Abstract: The study of structural changes of stretching and bending modes around 3000-4000cm-1 and 700-1800cm-1 in the temperature range of 299 to 503 K during the dehydration of naturally occurring scolecite was investigated using in-situ Raman spectroscopy. A Raman spectrum from 3000-4000cm-1 was measured for a fibrous zeolite called scolecite to regulate the behavior of water molecules in the passages. The extending vibrations of H2O molecules of scolecite are located between …

Atomism Theory: Indian & Western Perspective
Abstract: The atomism and atomic theory are differentiated on philosophical and scientific basis, but the thing is to have some similarities. The Kanad’s theory came in 2nd century BC and the scientific atomic theory were proposed after 19th century. The ‘añu’ that was experimented by using microscopes, was already experienced and mentioned in the Vaisheshik sutra by Kanad. Here some important questions may be raised that, Is paramãñu by Vaisheshik and …

Platelets A Tiny Cell Fragments
Abstract: Platelets are disc-shaped, anucleate cells that are approximately 2-3 μm in diameter. Their primary function is to control hemostasis, or blood clotting, but they also play important roles in angiogenesis (the formation of new blood vessels) and innate immunity (the body's first line of defence against infection). With a diameter of just 2-3 microns, platelets are tiny, disc-shaped cells that lack a nucleus. While their main responsibility is to ensure …
