Performance Evaluation of Green Walnut Husk Waste Extract for Inhibiting Aluminium 8088 Corrosion in Acidic Solution
Abstract: The cumulative call for environmental and supportable corrosion inhibitors has obsessed curiosity in exploiting plant-based agronomic surplus resources. Presented research work discovers the corrosion inhibition probable of green walnut husk extract(GWH)—a normal and plentiful agro-waste—on Aluminium 8088 alloy in an acidic medium. Aluminium 8088, however identified for its corrosion resistance, is vulnerable to squalor in highly acidic settings, affectation trials in several industrial claims. GWH extract act as an ecologically …

Structural Properties of Spin Coated Multilayered Cupric Oxide Thin Films
Abstract: AbstractCuO thin films were spin-coated at 1500, 2200 and 2400 rpm for 30 sec, and subsequently annealed at 150–550°C for 1 h. Multi-layered CuO thin films were prepared including three and five layers. These thin films were characterized using XRD, Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) and polarizing light microscopy. The XRD and FTIR analysis confirmed the crystallization of CuO phase in thin films annealed above 350°C, and corresponding crystallite sizes were …

Effects of the Embryonic Bisphenol an Exposure on The Postnatal Development, Learning and Memory of Rat Offspring: Fundamental Study
Abstract: We studied the morphologic changes in some organs and changes of learning and memory of the rat offspring after the embryonic bisphenol A exposure. Background: Bisphenol A, widely used as polycarbonate plastics material to manufacture food packaging, toys, glasses, computers, kitchen utensils and medical instruments, is one of the most common endocrine-disrupting chemicals. It is demonstrated that bisphenol A may be mingled with foodstuff and beverage from package and receptacle. …

A Ponder & Sedulousness Of Legion Shale Stabilizing Materials In Aqueous Based Drilling Fluid During The Process Of Borehole Strengthening
Abstract: Drilling fluid used while drilling the layers of shale will have the potential of reacting with water which tends to increase stickiness, induce swelling and promote sloughing of the borehole. This results in the reduction of drilling fluid circulation, increased mud loss, increase in torque and drag, reduction in lubricity. This will ultimately result in the increase of Non-Productive Time (NPT) during drilling which in turn increases Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) …

Interference Effect between Prismatic Buildings Subjected to Microburst Wind
Abstract: Severe thunderstorms are important weather phenomena which impact on various facets of national activity like civil and defense operation, particularly aviation, space vehicle launching and agriculture in addition to its damage potential to life and properties. One of the most important events in the thunderstorms is the “Downburst”. Downbursts occur when a column of descending air reaches the ground and bursts out violently. This downward motion abruptly changes direction and …

Assessing the Sensitivity of the Strength Properties of Asphalt Concrete Mixture to the Variation in Asphalt Binder Content
Abstract: The variationsin the asphalt cement binder content withinthe job mix formula, may exhibit a great influence on the required strength properties of asphalt concrete mixture. The present investigation deals with asphalt concrete mixtures which are usually implemented for wearing course pavement layer. The mixtures were prepared at optimum binder content of 4.8 %, and at ± 0.5 % of the optimum binder content and subjected to the short-term ageing process.Slab …

Multi-Modal (Hybrid) More Efficient and Highly Secured Enhanced Hand Geometry Authentication using 3 Steps Authentication by Means of Biometrics, Steganography and Encryption
Abstract: “Biometrics” is the science, which is used to verify the identity of the persons through either behavioral traits or physical characteristics. This area has gained great importance in maintaining the security of the places that require high security accuracy. Hand geometry is considered one of the biometrics, which derived its reputation from the ease of use and the acceptance of many people to use it. Hand geometry based biometric systems …

Robust Access Control Mechanisms Using VHDL Programming for IoT Security
Abstract: The Internet of Things (IoT) devices are increasingly becoming targets for criminal actors. A compromised device can result in data breaches, denial-of-service attacks, and even physical damage. While software-based security solutions are important, they are susceptible to attacks and often impose significant overhead, negatively impacting both performance and battery life. A viable alternative is provided by hardware-based security, which takes advantage of the inherent security benefits that are associated with …
