Risk Assessment in Boiler Operations by HAZOP
Abstract: Our motive in this study is to analyze the hazard associated in different processes which are being carried out in the boiler room and to minimize their effects in order to make the working environment safe. Boilers are generally used to convert heat energy produced by burning of fossil fuel to the electric energy. This review presents hazard analysis of boilers, improves the safety performance related to boiler by using …

Improving Indoor Room Air Conditioning Using PID Control
Abstract: Energy use in building air conditioning contributes significantly to power demand; therefore, in this work, we propose an improved methodology to achieve comfort conditions through PID control assistance. The project develops a mathematical model based on analytical heat transfer equations for comfort conditions by fulfilling the Fanger equation, considering environmental parameters (ambient temperature), metabolic rate, and people’s physical activity (internal heat generation) to reduce power consumption and improve energy efficiency. …

Challenges In Design And Construction Of Radiant Floor Heating System In High Altitude Areas Of Ladakh Region
Abstract: This technical paper elaborates the pre-planning as well as execution strategies adopted in designing and implementing an efficient radiant floor heating system at Leh, Ladakh region. The extremely detrimental climatic condition of the region as well as the occupant comfort level was considered in evaluating the zone-wise heat load calculations of the buildings which has to be equipped with the heating system. Further the insulation specifications, temperature of the hydronic …

Design of Ducts: An Industrial Perspective
Abstract: Central Air Conditioners working is a complex and cumbersome topic which takes a lot of time and effort. It’s a difficult task to explain the entire parts, its working and maintenance. Here an effort is made to explain about the designing of Ducts used in a central A/C. A Commercial building is taken for reference and each floor’s Duct designing is explained. The ground floor is designed with supply air …

Physiological Monitoring Vest
Abstract: A firefighter saves so many life at huge risk. The working event site is so hazardous. Sometimes they die during their job of saving life of others. So the safety and health monitoring of firefighter should be on the top priority. As they work under extreme pressure conditions a proper system should be there which can do real time monitoring in order to keep them safe and improve there working …

Automation of 1.5tr Air Conditioning Systems Used in Different Cabins in Different Areas
Abstract: India is the world's most populous country and temperatures in many states regularly exceed 40°C. Therefore, people living in humid climates need a means to control temperature. Scientists have determined that human comfort is between 22°C and 27°C. This research determines all the properties of air relevant to the operation of water pipes. Exploring automation in air conditioning systems with Passive Infrared Sensor is to develop and implement intelligent climate …

Comparison of Percentage Removal of Petroleum Hydrocarbon on the Effect of Biostimulant in Polluted Soil Environment Using Chromolaena odorata
Abstract: The investigation on the comparison of percentage reduction on polluted soil environment using chromolaena odorata as a bio-stimulant upon the effect of contact time revealed increase in percentage removal of total petroleum hydrocarbon (TPH). The rate of total petroleum hydrocarbon (TPH) removal was discovered to have been influenced y the mas of bio-stimulant dosage immersed or introduced into each of the bioreactor. However, as the mass of the bio-stimulant dosage …

Precipitable Water for Human Consumption in Rural Areas: Calculation Method and Engineering Design
Abstract: This work describes a methodological process to estimate the precipitable water for human consumption as a function of meteorological parameters like ambient and dew point temperature, water vapor and ambient pressure, and relative humidity. The paper uses empirical correlations to determine the most accurate procedure for atmospheric rainwater, resulting in a simple relation between precipitable water and dew point temperature as the highest accurate one. The study shows the dew …

Design and Development of Onion Storage Shade for Better Ventilation and Longer Life
Abstract: Onions are one of the most important cash crops for farmers in India and many other countries. However, most harvested onions are lost every year due to improper storage. Traditional storage methods, such as keeping onions in heaps under trees, in closed rooms, or in poorly ventilated sheds, do not provide sufficient airflow. As a result, moisture accumulates, leading to sprouting, fungal growth, rotting, and physical damage. These losses reduce …
