Abstract

Our motive in this study is to analyze the hazard associated in different processes which are being carried out in the boiler room and to minimize their effects in order to make the working environment safe. Boilers are generally used to convert heat energy produced by burning of fossil fuel to the electric energy. This review presents hazard analysis of boilers, improves the safety performance related to boiler by using risk assessment technique Hazop (Hazard operability), in this study. It was clearly found that the pressure and temperature have a high-risk level of boiler hazards and can cause boiler explosion. The findings suggest that implementing new control systems can lead to a healthier and safer work environment. Risk assessment is a critical component of daily operations in the boiler room. The purpose of this assessment is to identify potential hazards and eliminate any associated risks. Through careful and ongoing risk assessment, it is possible to create a safer workplace and prevent accidents from occurring. To identify hazard, we must observe factors by which we can save the workers from hazards. The purpose of this study is to identify and outline potential hazards, as well as define the risks associated with each hazard. By clearly defining these risks, we can better understand the potential impact of each hazard and take steps to mitigate the associated risks.
