Certain Results Involving Ramanujan’s Theta Functions
Abstract: In this present work, our main aim is to obtain “certain results involving Ramanujan’s theta functions”. In this paper, we have evaluated Ramanujan’s theta functions by making use of certain modular equations due to Ramanujan. Using these values of theta functions, we have also evaluated Ramanujan’s cubic continued fraction and Ramanujan–Weber class invariants Gn and gn.Keywords: Ramanujan’s theta functions, modular equations, Ramanujan–Weber class invariants, Ramanujan’s cubic continued fraction, Modular identitiesCite …

Abstract Fuzzy Function
Abstract: The grading of the set is studied by L. A. Zadeh in 1965. The set is defined by the membership function. Fuzzy set and fuzzy logic are the two domain defined as the discrete mathematical structure. Its discreteness is associated with the fundamental axioms of the classical set theory and its operation. This paper defines the fuzzy function and its applications. Keywords: Fuzzy Set, Fuzzy Logic, Fuzzy Function, Set Theory, Membership …

A Finite Element Solution of Functionally Graded Rotating Disk based on Element based Material Grading
Abstract: The present study reports finite element elastic analysis of variable thickness rotating disks made up of functionally graded materials (FGMs). The disks have exponentially varying material properties along the radius, which is achieved by varying the volume fraction ratio. Three types of thickness profile namely uniform, linearly varying and concave thickness profile having constant mass are analyzed and the resulting displacement and stresses areevaluated for free-free boundary condition. The investigation …

Functionally Graded Natural Fibre and SiC-reinforced Polymer Composite: Mechanical Properties
Abstract: Multifunctional materials, also called functionally graded materials (FGMs), are based on natural fibres or fillers and vary in composition and/or microstructure to control functional, structural, or thermal, properties. Functionally graded materials (FGMs) have been created for use in spacecraft, aircraft, and other engineering applications because they can withstand extremely high temperatures. Particle-reinforced FGMs, which make up the majority of FGMs, are made differently depending on their position. The mechanical and …

Polymer–Gel Composite Phase Change Materials: A Functional Polymer Composite Approach for Solar-Thermal Energy Storage in Building Facades
Abstract: This study investigates polymer–composite phase change materials (PCMs) in the form of polymer–gel hybrids as multifunctional systems for solar–thermal energy storage in building façades. Paraffin- and PEG-based PCMs were embedded into polyurethane and acrylic gel matrices to create shape-stabilized polymer–composites with high PCM loading (70–80 wt%). Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) confirmed distinct melting/freezing transitions at ~56°C (paraffin) and ~42°C (PEG), with enthalpy values of 120–150 J/g, closely matching theoretical predictions, …

Synthesis and Characterization of Ether Containing Tetraglycidyl Epoxy Reinforced with Amine Functionalized Graphene Oxide (F-Go) and It’s Nanocomposites
Abstract: AbstractTGDDE matrix material along with functionalized graphene oxide (F-GO) as reinforcement was used to develop a unique skeletally modified tetra functional epoxy nanocomposites. Amine functionalization of graphene oxide nanoparticles (F-GO) on its surface was achieved by grafting 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES) as coupling agent. The FT-IR spectrum revealed that the silane coupling agent was covalently bonded to the surface of graphene oxide nanoparticles, offering better dispersibility and compatibility with TGDDE epoxy matrix. …

A Study on Efficacy of Movement with Mobilization Versus Graded Oscillatory Technique in the Management of Pain and Shoulder Function Among Shoulder Impingement Subjects
Abstract: Many conditions affecting shoulder which includes rotator cuff tear, frozen shoulder, shoulder instability, bursitis and shoulder impingement. Impingement usually refers to compression and mechanical aberration of the rotator cuff tendon, subacromial bursa, or long head of biceps tendon beneath the anterior under surface of the acromion, coracoacromial ligament or under surface of the acromioclavicular joint during elevation of arm. Another possible mechanism of impinge can be attributed to intrinsic breakdown …

Mathematical Modelling of the Effect of Functional Parameter on the Biodegradation Rate of Hydrocarbons
Abstract: The discovery of oil as a potential source of energy did not come without its attendant problems. Continuous degradation of our environment and increased carbon footprint is a negative consequence of global industrialization. However, microbes are known to consume such hydrocarbon in an attempt to restore the environment to its original state. These microbes depend on several factors-one of which is temperature- to function effectively. In this work, we have …
